This song is one of the lesser known freestyle songs that really ROCKS! this "Allure" chick sounds A LOT like Safire & the only track I have is on my Strictly Freestyle Vol. 1 CD from Summit Records that came out in 1995....

I bought a freestyle mix tape en la calle de NYC & it has this doper sounding Miami sounding mix...but damned if I can find a 12", much less another CD that might have this mix....

Can anyone help out?

for those who don't recognize the song right off, the lyrics chorus go a little something like this:

Doooon't, tell me that you love me;
Doooon't, tell me that you need my loooooooove;
'cause I don't wanna knooooooow;

and then it repeats again.

If any one can help with either an MP3, CD album or single that may have additional mixes (especially that Miami sounding one), or where I can get my hands on a 12" pressing would be greatly appreciated by me, The Putana! 🙂

I have the 12"...

It features 3 different Freestyle mixes (Radio #1, Radio #2 and a Club Mix which is the same one that is on Summit's STRICTLY FREESTYLE compilation).

Radio Mix #1 is similiar to Club Mix but has a different beat and has some samples thrown in the middle.

Radio Mix #2 is the Miami version you are looking for. It features a nice non-"Planet Rock" Miami style beat and a stripped down piano and strings for the keyboards...

Believe it or not, according the label info on the 12" single, Tony Garcia mixed the song.

AHHHH, Rhoq U lucky b*stard! So Tony Garcia mixed ALL the mixes or just the Miami sounding one?

I take it U wouldn't be willing to part with it right? How's about putting it on MP3?? R U capable?!?!? I've been wanting that mix since I heard it in the early 90s! It's almost gonna be a decade now! 🙁

Thanks for the heads up by the way.

No, I am not willing to part with the 12" (sorry), it is one of my favorite songs. If I run into another copy (I have seen 3 over the last year) I'll pick it up for you.

As far as Tony Garcia goes, the label information makes it looks like he did the Radio & House/Techno mixes.

BTW - I just sent you a PM
