Hey I got a question,

I have a Shih Tzu/Toy Poddle cross (small little guy he's about 6lbs)...He's a smart little guy picks up on everything and anything...but one thing he doesn't seem to be getting is getting along with other dogs...it don't matter the size or the breed he just don't like other dogs...it get embarassing and scary when we take him out the park and he's growling and trying to lunge for another dog...his vet was saying to bring him to doggie training school...has anyone taken this approach I'm wondering if it's worth it or not?
 
Yeah cuz my little guy is all of 6lbs...I really don't know where he thinks he's going...he gets all aggrevated and huffs and puffs in frustration...needless to say I get my bf to walk him 😛
 
Mayeb its cause he dotn interact with other Dogs so he think he running things lol try taking himt o a Dog park so he can learn to interact with other dogs . I actually want to get a Tavian a dog he lvoes animals but I a dotn want a big dog and I am not sure what breed would eb good for him.
 
Well my little guy loves people...he's great with children...my nephew loves Niko

Well my dog gets along with my friends dog (it's a similar breed and they're about the same age) and they see each other about once or twice a month...it is the ONLY dog he gets along with...

Angie people have told me the same thing...I do take him to the park everyday...I dunno maybe he just don't like other dogs lol maybe there's no hope for my little guy he's gonna be a bully all his life 😛
 
Awww. LOL dont feel bad..i got 2 beasts myself. One goes after any animal she sees..dogs, cats, birds, lizards, etc...and the other doesnt like other animals. If another dog comes up to him, he'll either hide behind me or start trying to climb up my leg..so i could pick him up. But as soon as the other dog starts to walk away..he becomes a big tough guy..starts growling and barking and he runs a lil like if he's chasing the other dog away. But if the dog turns around and starts coming back..he'll run behind me again. They're too much LOL

Awww those are cuties...my cousin has one of those Frisky and the name is so him he's so hyper and full of energy even tho he's already 11yrs old...they look like caramel colored fluff balls 🙂 but the grooming must be a mission
 
I've only seen the brown ones...I didn't even know they came in other colors...post some pics of them up 🙂
 
Oh wow they look like a totally different breed in black and white...they are so cute the little Yorkie is cute too 🙂...see I can never have a pic of my dog with other dogs...it will look more like a brawl 😛
 
Ah that's what it is cuz I was waiting for the big poof...I'd like to get another dog maybe it will help Niko be more social...I'm leaning toward a Yorkie or a Boston Terrier 🙂
 
I'm not a cat person tho...I like doggies...and my turtle 🙂
