I don't really eat them anymore, though I keep some emergency Hamburger Helper around. Actually I grew up on that crap, I think it had a role in me being so screwed up. My dad was so cheap too, he's add water and elbow macaroni in it to make it last longer. Nothing like leftover Hamburger Helper Elbow Macaroni Soup. When we were really poor it was Hamburger Helper Elbow Macaroni Soup Suprise. The supreise- there was no hamburger meat, haha.

Hamburger Helper actually had me do a small survey kinda thing a few years ago where I got a "gift." I'm thinking great, money, free hamburger helper, something along those lines. I had to watch their idea for a commecial, a vhs that they fed exed me. I had to wait, call them at a certain hour to watch it and call immediately after and critique it and answer some questions. My free gift- I got to keep the vhs, not even a coupon.

OMG I got into this in a thread with sweetheart once, My poor dad was so cheap, he did so many crazy things I could write a book about him. He watered everything down, even the ramen noodles. That's bad. Kool Aid recipe- little envelope, 1 cup sugar, 1 gal water- he insisted it was juice Watered down the milk. Re-used all the oil. I never knew what the hell I was eating. Great pork dad. Nope it's chicken. Mmm the chicken's good. Nope that's fish.
