Mikaila has a song called "so in love with 2"...which some people considered freestyle...but her album which i have is not freestyle...more like pop...

Same thing with Richard Lugo.....his only moderate hit..."Boom"...was categorized as freestyle...but the album is not...

i wanted to know wat are ur opinions of these songs.....freestyle or not??
 
Nah, Richard Lugo just had that "Boom" single, which was dope, but the rest of his album was more commercial, radio-friendly r&b/pop type stuff.
 
Mikaila - So In Love with 2 has a freestyle mix on the 12"; slammin' track! It was featured on this site for user voting last year; check it out!
 
Mikaila....love the song, definitely pop, on the wavelength of Christina Aguilera, but I can taste a bit of freestyle in it.....Richard Lugo.....again, I love the song, but no freestyle detection, very NSYNC
 
I consider "Boom" my Lugo freestyle, just a new type of freestyle. I could see why people would say it isnt though. I haven't heard the Mikaila song.

I only heard Lugo's Remix by Cibloa, that shyt was tight at the time, but the Label Didn't wanna push that version, they wanted to push the album version, kinda Planet Rock Sounding meets pop.


I use to work at WEA, and I told them to Work Cibola's mix, Wild in The Bay Area may have picked it (maybe). But, they said that the Video was done with the Album version, I was Like "whatever" Cuzz they could have re-done the Video.
 
i thought this thread was gonna go in the back burner like most of my other ones...but it didnt!!!

RHOQ...im surprised u havent heard these songs...i read that they were considered freestyle releases....though the albums def were not freestyle

thanx for ur opinion peeps...i put these albums along wit the freestyle collection i have...based on those songs only....BTW...i bought both cd for 88 cents each!!!
 
where on earth has RICHARD LUGO gone?? I thought it was a 'freestyle-ish' track....but nnno*POP*pe.

Mikaila's Cibola Mix was featured for voting in the booth for the longest time right here on clubfreestyle.com Look it up!
