Ok peeps, how do I get to Coney Island from NJ????

LOL

I went there once last year, and I'm lucky if I can remember what I did yesterday, let alone last year!

What's the easiest way there????
 
BY CAR
Take the Belt Parkway to exit 6. Head south on Cropsey
Avenue to West 17th Street. Steeplechase Park and the Parachute
Jump will be in front of you on Surf Avenue. Parking is available
along most streets. There are commercial parking lots on West 17th
Street and West 12th Street between Mermaid and Surf, West 15th
Street between the Boardwalk and Surf and on Neptune Avenue
between West 12th and Stillwell Avenue.

BY TRAIN
Take the B, D, N or F trains to Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island
(the last stop) or the D or F trains to West 8th Street.
(NOTE F TRAIN STOPS ON AVENUE X USE FREE SHUTTLE BUS TO GET TO CONEY ISLAD)

BY BUS
Take the B-36 or B-64 bus lines to Stillwell Avenue terminal
or the B-68 line to West 5th Street.

Chuck take the Turnpike to the Goethals and Verrazano Bridge (I believe it's exit 13) on the Verrazano stay on your left get on the beltparkway going East and get off on the Coney Island Exit, make a right yada yada yada..lolol. Let me know if this helps.

Do NOT use mapquest! Uggh! Maci and I got our directions that way last year and we ended up on Coney Island Avenue. You would think that would put us remotely close to where we should be, but noooooo. That's why it ended up taking us nearly two and half hours. LOL So Chuck, do a favor for yourself and avoid mapquest! LOL
 
will be getting there early if any one wants to meet me at nathans have to do this first time to coney island since 8 or 9 yrs old what do u expect from a kid from the burbs 😉

ahhh well it is NASTY out so I am not going but I do hope you guys all have a great time I just don't feel like being at the beach in the rain 🙁
