What up this is Dj Fresh in the MIXXXXXXXX, but neways in detroit there never used to be any techno or freestyle being played on the radio. Now all of a sudden five weeks ago they started playing techno like crazy. All of my freinds used to think that freestlye was gay, and now everyones listing to techno and freestyle. I think freestyle might have a come back in detroit, but for now they mostly play techno. Mostly Dj Sammy - Heaven, Dj Encore - I see right through, 4 month old songs to me but to them its so new, dont get me wrong its a good song but they play it constaly and now I cant stand the song. When they frist started playing it I got so mad that all my freinds that used to say that this was so stupid to listin too. Now im cool with it but they still have no idea what is good and whats not. Well looks like im out of here take it easy and tell me what you think...

dj assult and dj kal are the biggest names in the dj bussiness in detroit but i've never heard a better freestyle cds than dj paradise

for sure dj assult is not makin ne freestyle cds but hes still a big dj

DJ Fresh - can you give us some information of Detroit's own: Naif?

I am mainly interested in knowing if he is working on new material. His album was one of the best Freestyle albums to come out during the mid 1990's.

New Freestyle In Detriot

Well, i heard of DJ Kal ect... and they r the best here and I'm happy about they play in Detriot,But have you guys ever heard of a new Freesyle artist named "G-zel".WEll she's been preforming all around Detriot. You have to hear her shit it is off the hook.If you guys want more info go to her website www.g-zel.com.

good point about freestyle on the radio. it's so funny. i dl dj sammy - heaven like 6 months ago, at least. funny how a song on the radio is all of a sudden "cool". dj is ok. but to be honest, all the djs in michigan do the same shit. mix in the same 30 songs on a cd. i used to buy mix cds in dearborn back in the day and in southwest detroit. then i came to realize that there is more to freestyle than 30 songs. to me the songs that are good are the stuff is the old stuff. i remember the first time i heard denine-i remember you, or songs like manny - i thank you, quadlibet - never gonna give up. those songs give me goosebumps. can't stand that trendy shit you hear on the radio. it's all manufactured for the mass. i'll stick to my old school stuff.
