Desperate Cry

What happens now that you took your love from me
Who gets to calm my undeserved insanity
I bet you’re doing fine
I know she’s by your side
As you leave me in my demise

Who wipes the tears rolling down from my eyes
What promises will build up my shattered life
Your language is that of lies
Treating me cold left me in surprise
Cause I believed, my eyes were blind

It’s so easy for you to throw it all away
So many times my love saved your day
You know I scream your name
And pray things were the same
If God could only send you my way

You say that friends is how we should remain
I know you know that only deepens my pain
My soul faces the rain
To breathe is my greatest strain
But if you would return…that would be great
