remember the smash hit SAYIN SORRY DONT MAKE IT RIGHT by DENISE LOPEZ? what ever happened to her? i would love to get my hands on that CD. i think the label was VENDETTA or SLEEPING BAG. lil help anybody?

The label that Denise Lopez was on was Vendetta which had a distribution deal with A&M at that time. The CD that had that song is long out of print. I believe the name of her album was "Truth in Disguise", but not 100% sure about that. Sometimes it goes up for auction on eBay but it's very hard to find. I'm not sure why, but I've never even seen "Sayin' Sorry" on any freestyle compilations that are put out now.
 
Denise Lopez's debut album was "Truth In Disguise" was on A&M and had two hit singles, "Sayin' Sorry" and "If You Feel It". Her follow up album was called "Every Dog Has It's Day" had one single released, "Don't You Wanna Be Mine".
 
Denise lopez had a great, live voice. i saw her once at one of the concerts HOT 97 gave at the legendary Palladium in NY. I am so surprised she did not go further with her career. She would perform with a bunch of tulips - anyone remember that?? i guess it was her trademark.

i have her first album, "say sorry" and "if you feel it" were just about the only 2 highlights of the album.
