Do any of you remember the show Degrassi Junior High? I used to watch it all the time when I was younger. Well I have a cable channel tha has a new version of Degrassi. Some of the characters from the original Degrassi are on it. And, they now show episodes of the original Degrassi every night at midnight. They call it Degrassi, Old School lol It really brings back memories! I used to watch it on PBS every Sunday morning back in the day!

It is old school LOL. I admit it, I used to watch that show...do you remember those guys who tried to be musicians, talking about "Everybody wants sommmmmeeethin', they'll ne-ver give up..." :lol. I can't believe I remember that stupid, pathetic song! LMAO!!! They did a concert once at the school and the girls thought that they were great :lol. OH and there was that girl who was pregnant - she grew to full term and at the finale show she went into labor. Yup I remember that show. 😉 I feel so old!!!! :lol
 
LOL lachicabella! The episode I watched last night was when they graduated from junior high..Snake, Joey, and Wheels aka The Zit Remedy performed that stupid song at the dance...Everybody wants somethinnnn they'll take your moneyyyy and never give uppp LOL And then Spike went into labor at the dance! In the new Degrassi, her daughter Emma is now a teenager!

Wow, now that's interesting. I hope that band gave up on that song for God's sake :lol.

I used to love this show and the new show has the old characters as adults, but when a new version of an old show is done it is not the same.

Yup, I agree. Sometimes that sucks, but then again I tend to grow on the new stuff. But I agree its never the same (I hate that! :lol)
 
I have really enjoyed watching these classic epsiodes of Degrassi. Those kids were the most realistic students on any TV show ever!
