I caught some of The Golden globes last night. The big attraction was Mick Jagger. I said to my friend; He is a A List. The same with Muhummard Ali.

What is your definition of an A List, B list, C list?

A list:

A legend, Person known world wide.
Arnold, Michael Jordan

B List:
Britney Spears, Jay Z, katie Couric

Popular in The US, Regional

C list.

People in the news, big circumstance, Game show/Reality TV personality

Scott Peterson, Monica lewinski, William Hung, Horrarosa, etc.

Maddona and Janet are A-List. They had a big impact on pop music worldwide! That's why britney is not yet A-List. She is popular, but not really had a big world wide impact.
