This is another sign of people screwing with The Dance Music Communuity. Reality is; since 1980(The Death of Disco), Dance was never treated with any respect.
hey ivan...no problem bro, i always enjoy reading your interviews, always look forward to them. you, francis and the gals at OIM are the best out there, always in depth, informative and shows your knowledge of the music scene. you always got my respect!! please keep us informed as to where we can find your future work.
I have read that magazine since '95. I agree it was the best magazine out there. Most of the time the freestyle file was good for information, but since the inception of the internet, it seemed as if the file was out of date. They still had some good inside information though. It was too bad they ceased publication. Now there are hardly any magazines that support freestyle or dance music in general.
What's up? Thank you very much for your kind words.
Greg,
There is the Net now. Thanx to the different message boards, and thanx to the fan's sites for their devotion to the music.
The best thing to do for the DMA's crew, is to develop their web site and to continue the same job...but this time only on the Net.
It will be easy for DMA to become the 1st Dance music online magazine, there is a bunch of excellent columnists.
no problem francis....my favorite french freestyle fanatic!!
how are things over there??
very good thought there bout dma...they dont have to close up shop completely if they dont want to...an online magazine is a viable and maybe even easier option...hope they do it. they do have a great roster of talent there.
