this is an issue that should be addressed and i dont care what the consequences are....but there should be an explanation to those out there who are misinformed and left in the dark....

it is a shame that a Charity event has become a breeding ground for egos to kill off the main idea...which is helping others...i understand that Dare to dream was being endorsed by other sites...and perhaps the creators were not mentioned...all that was needed to be done was tell people to be included as creators and from a sponsorhship....in my opinion....a chartity that grows in numbers is better that way...

but to claim ownership and place lies in order to discourage people to pull out is a slimy shame and should not be left alone...

Jack G....although i respect you as a human being...some of your actions do cause extreme heartbreak within myself....you can "suspend" me again...since you do believe that this site is your dictatorship....but the world wide web is not.....

i wrote this here because people who frequent CF...or your world should know that your actions to put a grasp on a CHARITY is cruel...slimy and out of place....

i suggest you explain to people your motives....or i will let everyone know my opinion....somehow.....

my ADVICE to the winternet world is....do NOT let EGOS get in the way of a GOOD thing....becuase it seems that all good things end badly because people cant get past their own big heads......
 
you can try the link again....but the site i sponsor has pulled from the charity mainly because of jack g...so What Cha Missin is not involved in this drama....

this is a quest that i embarked on because i want Jack G to explain himself to all of you why he got so mad that other sites were HELPING in this charity....

is it becuase he wants ALL THE PRAISE for it???

unfortunately this is turning out to be a fiasco, instead of something for the kids, ALL SIDES! because the kids should be the only ones to profit from this, not anyone in particualr, not any site, or artists, or whoever the Fcuk was sending out the notice. I am so sick of shit like this. These kids may NEVER see ANOTHER CHRISTMAS AGAIN!!!! and here we go again with the posting from sites to sites from members to members and fcuk the kids right? like always, they are the ones who end up with the shitty end of the damn stick! Que se joda whoever don't fcuking like it. I am still sending my gift to these kids, because they deserve it, regardless of who started it, or who got upset over it. because to ME it's all about those beautiful children who may never see next christmas.

I hope that the bullshit going on doesn't deter ANYONE from sending gift to these guiltless kids.

thank you nyasia...this is about the children....

so when i heard the egos were distracting the event i was the most upset for the children affected....

i recommend that everyone gives to a charity this year...just be careful WHAT charity you do it for....some people use this time to take advantage of good souls through UNETHICAL and EGOISTIC plots...and that hurts more becuz they are taking advantage of underprivilidged people for their own gain....

Yes they will ATX, Last year they got all the gifts, even after all the drama from last year too.
 
chulo.....if you are insinuating that someone is making a profit, you are severely wrong. There is no money being passed around. Just toys. so, the only people who profit are the kids. It's not about "egos." Its about someone who wanted to use their site with the help of artists to help children. If Jack wanted it all to himself, he wouldn't have asked for all the sites to participate.

Pete wanted to help BUT he failed to mention whose idea it was and made it seem as if it were Pete's "baby." I mean, even the great people at NHB give Jack his due credit in regard to his work. In return, we do the same.

We are over this "site war" crap. Jack tried uniting the sites. Some choose to participate, some didnt. thats their perogative.
 
I am rarely on so somebody please send me tha addy to send the children their gifts..

this is an ETHICAL ISSUE....it is nto about friends or loyalty....

it is not about drama...it is not about wat website you go to....

it is about principle.....if you want to be mentioned that you are part of a charity...so be it....dont throw a hissy fit....

i have nothing to prove to anyone on here...but as a person who takes an ethics class in college...and deals with a proffession that deals with touchy issues....it just blows my mind that the the overall idea was thrown away becuz someone could not just handle things accordingly....

believe what you wish...but im tired of people using ethical fallacies to distract people of the real issues...

believe what you want...just help the children in need...i for one will help a charity that is not run by someone out there to get credit....

that is the sad thing about it all....the kids dont care who gives them the toys...but yet people care whos involved....

im sick of people using other people to make themselves look better...

this is not a site war...its a war between human beings and their petty egos....

The benefit has not been cancelled. It's still happening. Not like the whole idea was abandoned.

Nessa mentioned the site that originated the idea in her mail she sent out to UFC. Kudos to her for being adult about things. Pete failed to mention that on the site he posted the message about the benefit on...who's ego?

I'll be sending my gift regardless.
