actress/singer DAPHNE RUBEN-VEGA has a new single out and DEZROK did a couple of mixes for it,does anyone know if they sound a little like FREESTYLE.I saw it at TOWER ,but I was not sure if the single was good or not.

I bought it this past weekend in NYC (the single).

I don't understand the lyrics.

I just don't get it.

The remixes are hot, but I have to let it grow on me, if it ever does.

I don't like it.

For someone who is trying to make a comeback, she sure as hell needs help selecting a potential hit.

Out of 5 stars, I give it 2. And that's only for the remixes.

Yeah- Rocket Man. The lyrics don't make any sense, and they aren't even compatible with the music itself.

I should've bought the Deborah Cox, Greatest Hit's Remix album instead.

"Rocket Man" is an old Elton John song that she re-did with Tony Moran. I agree that it wasn't the best choice, but I had heard it was recorded several years ago and just released now.

What music genre would it be under?personally with dance music I get picky and look for only FREESTYLE artists or music with the BREAKBEAT/ELECTRO sound.Since she's latina I thaught I might give the cd a try,but was unsure?

I caught Daphne on the Bravo Channel last night on a show called Braodway on Bravo, she sang a couple of songs. Looked and sounded Great!

Like 5am, they have been running it alot this month though. great show w/ Joan Osbourne, jamie-Lynn Sigler,Mandy Moore and Adam Pascal. That dude can sing!!!!
