Hi im SpeedTribe, ive always loved the latin hiphop and freestyle sound for years.. major props to the originators and innovators of the sound.. And hope to exchange views about the music with others..

But one thing that I have always wondered about that doesnt seem clear to me is what kind of "Dance" or dance moves, dance steps, were usually done to freestyle?? Like how did people get down to latin hip hop?

Given the electro-funk and hip hop origins, did b-boys "break" to Latin hip hop/early? Lots of b-boys were Puerto Rican, so did they ever associate with Latin Hiphop/Freestyle back in the day?? Im gonna guess they did, at least to the earlier latin hip hop since theres an over lap. Though some of the other freestyle tracks may be too pop/lame for a b-boy. Some OG out there can confirm this?

But then again sometimes you got that Planet Rock influenced electro-funk rhythm, so you could also dance by "popping" or "electric boogie" to 80s latin hiphop/freestyle right??

Anyone who danced from back in the day can clarify this coz been wondering for years... :typing :thanks
