In NYC handling my biz!!!!
On the news, (of course), they just mentioned how they got info that terrorists are plotting to bomb Grand Central Station here in NYC. How scary is that? I'm so sick of this crap. And we have Times Square too. As far as I'm concerned they can shuttle over and bomb Times Square if they wanted to.

These damn terrorists would get their a$$e$ whipped by NY'ers. ::uzi
 
Really Chuck. Because Grand Central Station and Times Square is very big and highly populated on a daily basis. I wouldn't want to know the damage.
 
Well I work here in Grand Central in the MetLife building and security is tight there are cos as well as armed soildiers walkiong the station all day.

realistically if a terrorist wants to he can strap a bomb on walk into any location and detonate no matter how much security is in place its done everyday in the middle east or a car bomb..how about a truck loaded with explosives over one of the many bridges very easy to do..the government would have you believe we have alot of security ..the same government that claims no one had any idea that the attacks on 9-11 would be possible... thats reality anything else is a spin

You're absolutely right about that.. thats why when you leave your loved ones daily make sure they know you love them.. tell them constantly.. you never know when its your time..
 
Well officials supposedly found a tape on this threat specifying Grand Central Station. What kills me is the news publicizes it and the same way we watch it, I'm sure these terrorists are watching the news too. So isn't that defeating the purpose? The terrorist can change location as soon as they know that the officials are on to them.
 
when something happens (not if) it wont be in any news report predicting it.. it will be completly by surprise thats the whole purpose of a terrorist attack!! to happen when you least expect it!

The things that scare me are the biological and nuclear threats. Right across the sound from me is a nuclear plant and anyone witha credit card and address can buy lethal highly contageous microbes on line. A container the size of a sod can would store enough botulism or anthrax or a few other diseases that can just be released in the drinking water and wipe out everyone in a large metropolitan area in a relatively short period by primary transmission.

That definitely is very scary. I'm so sick of the B.S. with this terror crap. It's so unfortunate that we have to live in some kind of fear and our children too.
 
u cant lose sleep over something that u cant stop if something happens then its gods way of sayin its our time to go so just take each day like its your last u never know when somethin will happen .
 
Amazing how the Librals, Left Wings, Democrats, and Make Peace not War people can say that Being on the Offensive with our Military is Worse than being On the Defensive.

How the Parents of our High School Graduates who would like to explore the possibility of Joining the Military to make something of themselves and do something for there country but is fed Mis-information about the military to keep there child from joining.

That is...until a bomb is detonated in your place of occupation, your church, and near where our own children play.

Then and only then, do the many voices who spited our Govt and it's military find themselves crying for the very same people to avenge them.

Isn't life just so Grand???

I knew you'd respond to this thread. But when I started the thread I just simply wrote stating the media found out info that the Grand Central Station was the next target. And how terrorists aren't dumb, they will lead us to believe that and perhaps target somewhere else. 🙂
You go into it more in depth because you're in the military. Which is understandable.

What cracks me up is that some of the major celebrities, once they reach that celebrity status they think they know everything- politics, about the military, etc, and with their influence many times they mislead people or cause a bunch of hype that really isn't called for.
