Cynthia (in the ending) & George LaMond (the male vocals) perform backup vocals for "My Heart Gets All The Breaks"? Or is it the male vocals are the Ligosa production team and just sound like him and that I just hear Cynthia's voice in everything? 😛

Anyone know?
 
I know Cynthia and GL both sing backup on Safire's "Made Up My Mind". Don't know about Monet, though. I doubt it, but I could be wrong.
 
I think it was Jimmi Tunnel on those Monet songs.

that voice is so so...you cant hear it anywhere else. the second reason i also flow this direction is that monet also has chris barbosa behind it. and barbosa and legit used jimmy tunnel on alot of thier productions in the early 80's.

know that Jimmi tunnels voice is on alot of early 80's freestyle records and is the lead chorus voice for Shanons "give me tonight" and if my memorie is right for "do you wana get away".

I was listening to Monet this weekend and wondered if that was Jimmy Tunnel singing on those songs.If Im not mistaken, he also does the male vocals on "take me in your arms".Anyone out there have more information on him?He's been part of many hit records-underated!
 
Jimmi T. , what a terrific and amazing voice!!!! He did a bunch of great backing vocals on Chris Barbosa's productions (Monet; Shannon; Lilo Thomas, etc.).

What kind of music he is singing now? I don't remember if it's in Rock, Hard Rock or Country music!!! Anyone knows?

It's like a falseto voice.Most male freestyle singers have this range.
 
Yeah, "Give Me Tonight", "Let The Music Play", "My Heart...", "Don't Tell Me Til Tomorrow", etc., sounds like the same guy singing back-ups. I always assumed it was George LaMond because of the producers. And because it sounds just like him. Who is Jummiy Tunnel?

Anyone know if Cynthia did back-ups for the track? I remember back when she was on Judy Torres' show with Safire and she sang that part at the end on cue. Like she was used to it. Ever since then, I hear that record, and I could swear I hear her voice in there.

Anyone have the actual album credits?

You said it right..."it's a classic." Man, I was listening to that song this morning. I looked at several sites to see if its available-forget it. I'm glad that I held onto mine 🙂 One more note, his vocals are even in "Let The Music Play." Peace!
