Ok folks I ended up goin to the Custom Car Show/Audio Thunder at the International Center on Airport road on Friday.

Needless to say it wasn't really worth the $15 I paid at the door with my buddy.

It was a big mistake goin on the first day cause HALF the audio performance cars weren't there, the funky concept rocket cars weren't there and of the cars that were there it wasn't really much to write home about.

In the next hall (they had seperate halls for different categories i.e sound in one, show in another)

There were a few nice lookin rides, I'll give some credit where credit is due, but they should have just called the show "STICKER-MANIA 2002". Thats all that was to be seen, I asked a couple guys what they had done to their cars and their reply was "It's stock but check out my cooooool paint-job and neat decals" AHHHHH sometimes you feel like strangling people!!

So we went and complained to the ticket agents why half the cars advertised weren't there and she really had no clue but her only answer was "sorry no refunds" man for 15 bucks i could've filled my belly with snacks and enjoyed it better than the bitter taste this show has left in my mouth!

If any of you guys went I wouldn't mind hearing what you thought of it!!!😡

Yeah I went, same sh*t different pile but you know it beats staying home during the day. As for the cars the domestic cars are always better to see than the imports. SPYBOY did you see the 526 HEMI create motor (I was drooling on that) 610 horses & 650 torque HHHmmmm!BRUNING RUBBBBER.YYYEEEAAAHHH! Then there was the lights shuting off because of the storm(I went on Sat.).As for the imports nothing impressing, there were cars with bad paint jobs, a pink hatchback civic with a dumb wing on top of the roof (what wuz that girl thinking), and the same cars (almost)every year showing.
Suggestion:
You wanna see imports go to NOPI nationals(Atlanta,USA).
You wanna see domestic cars go to Detriot Car Shows.
But if you don't want to stay home what da hell go to the show and spend the $15, it's not that bad.

AND DON'T FORGET THE GIRLS:nutz

I saw the car you mentioned, pink civic with a MAACO paintjob, and barbie dolls stuck on the roof, "Girly Girl Racing" decal on the back bumper.

Were not gonna get into a Domestic vs. Import disscusion, cause it just leads to Huge discussions and arguments. If your a fan of imports or Domestics more power to ya. (No arguments here, I like both sides of the street wars)

To each his own and have fun. BUT
when you come to a performance show packing a sticker book (read 20 million decals on the car) I'll point ya towards the direction of Romper Room or Sesame Street (whatever rocks your boat) give you a cookie and a swift kick in the @ss and send you on your merry way.🙄

I would definately go see the American muscle though...

My advice though, you guys.... go to Detroit for a REAL car shows.

I went to that show too, and i was disappointed too. I came all the way from cambridge too. One the reasons i went was b/c my buddy had his yellow dakota in there, which is just getting air ride installed. his truck looked sweet, but the show was definily not worth $15. ANother mistake going on a friday is that the bikini contest was saturday!
 
missed it...

i had a hangover (the worst!), so i couldn't go...

i heard that it wasn't worth it at all from friends who went, too!

what were u hoping to see...the world's hottest import? (hahahaLOL)
 
pink on a car..

sexy...sum cars look ok with pink (unless its a guy driving)

i know this one girl...she has the sickest civic. the colour is reddish/fuschia with a nice pink pearl...it looks really goooood!

i guess it depends on the shade and the person who drives it...😛
 
Vixen.. true... I'm just not a lover of PINK cars, unless it looks gorgeous, and so far.. nothing but pure dissapointment...
I've seen this Fillipino guy's Suzuki green civic... now that looks amazing!
Anyhow... I've spoken to this guy whose car was there aparently... He featured his Pontiac dragster... I couln't believe that monster... I feel bad for not going 🙁

don't feel bad! the only time he's worth ur time...is when he drives an import..like a type r or a CL500/600....lol

i went last year...sick lam.diablo, damn! the problem is with those show all cars are stock...there's usually a hot import show somewhere north of TO...i'll see when & where it is and post it here...that's the only place where u'll c dropped and slammed rides!😉
 
lol... all u do... don't say nightriders cos i'll puke! that show is such a WASTE! I went with two of my guys friends and we seriously seen better cars on the parking lot rather than the show itself, lol

n' still I like MUSCLE... tell me if there's a show with ONLY Trans Ams, Camaros, COrvettes and Mustangs... and I'LL BE THERE! hehehe

I know the civic your talking about. A little Oriental girl drives it, its got the plate that says 'Kiwani' on it. Usually see her at Coffee Time @ Leslie & 16th in Richmond Hill. It looks alright for a pink car. But with a colour like that Im sure shes gonna draw some uneeded attention from the York Region cops..😎

i always have seen her in Brampton...r u talking about a coupe or a hatch?😕
 
nah the one that i know of is a coupe...im pretty sure she lives in brampton too, i always see her there!😉
