"Cry For Love" by George Lamond was originally released by Jason Tomi on the same label (LIgosa).

But I think that Jason Tomi sings it with much more passion, and yes I do love George.....the reason why Chris and Mark Ligget decided to put on Georges album was because at that time George was big, and they felt that this song was too good to waste, and if you listen closely Jason does sound like George, but at the same time he does not, I wonder where Jason Tomi is at this time, I know that he did some songs for the compilation w/ the Santana Twins, which I have, but other than that, he is nowhere to be found, and at that time, was the freestyle backlash........and the song went no where....on that album Distant Heart went big, but again thats where the freestyle backlash happen and after that Columbia Records, dropped George..........I still have that CD when it first came out.......He did a remake of Jackson 5 which to me was very good, and some good slow jams, but again, no support, from the big boys, you will not go nowhere.
I remember Kiss 108fm top 40 station here in Boston playing Distant Heart, cause they knew George, through the promotion from Columbia playing Bad of the heart, when Columbia did the remix and it was big.......and out of nowhere he was gone.....Again its all about the money.....Just to show to us freestyle fans, that without the right connections and money and support, we will never get the chance to be big again...

He also did a remake of NKOTB's "Baby I Believe In You"! That CD was great, nothing like Bad of the Heart, but it's true mainly becuz Freestyle was leaving the "pop" scene! Like the motto goes: "Lo que importa aqui es el Cash (What matter here is Money)!!!"
