Other than freestyle, is there any particular artist(s) that you would like to see cross over and sing R & B, Salsa, Rock, etc.?

We've seen George Lamond go from Freestyle to Salsa, although he still sings freestyle. (Way to go George!! Much props for never dropping freestyle all together. )

La India and Marc Anthony crossed over to Salsa. Also Brenda K. Starr has done it.

Who do you think you would like to see cross over?

Gioia bruno a few years ago did a Rock/pop like album. It sounded pretty good. I would like to see our own Naya do a hard rock album. K7 is pretty solid at going back to his Hip hop roots.

I could vision Naya doing the same Mike. 🙂

I think if anyone wants to bring freestyle to the front, where it was, artists should mix styles or crossover to the demand. Once established, then bring freestyle along. Just my opinion. Look at NORE and the Reggaeton, this is a hardcore artist and no other hardcore artist brought a different style to the point where it is.

I wouldn't mind at all seeing if Naya could get busy in Salsa too. She should try it just for the hell of it, even if she's not serious about the whole crossover thing.

It's funny, because the ones that just try it for the hell of it are the ones that become very successful.

I would love to hear Nayobe do House, & give it another shot at R&B/Hip-Hop.
She's mos def got the flava & vocals for that.

Coro's new album sounds pretty hot. It's mostly R&B/Hip-Hop with a touch of Salsa & House.
