Cops: Man used cell to peep under girl's dress

A Gordon Heights man is under arrest today after he allegedly used his cell phone to take a photograph underneath the dress of a 15-year-old girl out shopping with her mother, Suffolk County police said.
The girl was shopping inside JCPenney at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove when a security guard saw Carlos Hernandez Morales, 22, take the photograph underneath her dress yesterday at 4:30 p.m.

The guard confronted Morales and held him until Fourth Precinct officers arrived. Morales was charged with unlawful surveillance and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned today in First District Court, Central Islip, where he was ordered held on $3,000 cash or $6,000 bond and entered a denial plea.
Police did not release the girl's identity. Neither Morales nor his relatives could be reached for comment early this afternoon.
