How was the Copa Show!?

Like I said before I wasn't able to go do to not having a car. Also Can anyone tell me how did the show went? My only reason for going would've been to See not only the usual suspects, but to see 2 without hats, Betty, Hanson & Davis, Corina, C & R, & More, and of course the nu artists that was representing. Also MKG and his Lady that I have not met. So this is so sad for me not bieng able to go. My first show that I miss (Of the big events thrown).

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, what a turn out.. IT WAS TOOOOOOOOO packed.. I justed chilled in the VIP room cause it was too many people. I saw a couple of the shows but it was way to hot and packed. I saw Nu Image who did a GREAT opening show. I also saw Noel, Betty Dee and the closing act K7.. They were all off the hook.. This event was a big turn out for Sal/Fever...I think the Copa went over the MAX (that's how packed it was).. I guess others that saw all the acts will post..
 
it was a great show last night. Hanson/davis and &more was nice, lizette and cynthia's acts were awesome. It seemed like cynthia really started the fire in the crowd, cuz it seemed too quiet before her performance.

Noel was off the hook, i really liked that whole lighting of the ciggarette during "silent morning" dsmoke

I think they gave Betty Dee a little too much stage time, she sang a few classics and then sang her new single and u guessed it, its not freestyle. the crowd died down, IMO


Judy was Phenominal, HOT!!!!!!

i didnt see C&R perform, either they were a noshow or they performed while I took a journey to the little boys room. Which getting to in that packed crowd is a mission in itself.

k7 rocked the house.

this experience was simply "one to remember"
 
i loved the show despite the crowd . i was not in a good spot so no pics but it was crazy. and i felt that betty dee was off the hook she has lots and lots of energy

Awwww glad everyone had a great time..I saw a video mpg of cynthia and lisette performing thier new song I cant change your mind" aye dio they were off the hook the dance moves were hot you go girls.Keith/DaveTheOneMendez great job on the show tape It was fireeeeee...The performance was hot so I can only imagine how the rest of the show was..Lissette and cynthia You guys were official the outfits/dancing,the whole performance ...
 
I have to second that Melissa... their performance was the best! MAD PROPS to Dave TheOne Mendez and Team Matrix for that bangin show tape.. had the crowd going wild! I'm loving that song!!!
 
I want to say personally, that Nu Image kicked it up there on stage. Outstanding performance up there. I enjoyed watching your show. These guys had the crowd "amped". Great show guys!

Lissette Melendez and Cynthia were great also. The dance routine was off the hook.

"&MORE"........should I comment on my own hubby or leave it to everyone else. :lol My friend Violet danced up there while he was performing. She used to dance for him back in the days. She rocked it up there. And with "heels". 😀 Aby formerly of TKA went on stage with him.

Coro, as always........great show. George Lamond, great show. Noel, great show. And I didn't see anybody.
 
Hi everyone!!!!!!!!! I know that after these shows those who went to the show post up their opinions about the show, who performed, what order the songs they sang etc....... I decided to change it up in my post. I am here to report on the most important aspect of last night's show: ALL OF YOU GUYS WHO WERE THERE!!!!!! I had such an amazing time, although it was VERY crowded and very hot. For a minute it seemed like everything was happening in slow motion and then we were all getting rushed and the show is happening. CF you guys were awesome!! Jazzy Happy Birthday honey it was a pleasure seeing you there and finally meeting you, I wish I had more time to come out and see all of you, Chuck , my brain went dead once I saw Romeo JD who surprised me and I didn't do all of my shout outs to you guys, and I am so sorry, as an artist it important to remember that these shows cannot go on and be successful unless you all come out and support them and for that I am, as well as all the other artists are extrememly grateful. You guys were off the hook for me and the best part of the whole night!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!

There was no way to get any cool pics, there were way toooo many people to get close enough to the stage!

Phillip Anthony and Nu Image opened the show, and they did a great job!

Hanson & Davis did "Hungry For Your Love"
&More and Aby tore it up with Materialistic Girl and You'll Never Find.
Lisette Melendez & Cynthia did their new song, and shared the stage, with 8 dancers.
George LaMond, Coro, Noel all got the ladies worked up.
Betty Dee got a great response from the crowd.
Two Without Hats and K7 put on great shows!

I heard some great comments about the new music that was played. People had mentioned both the new Lisette/Cynthia song, and Betty Dee's song.

That place was packed!
 
Copa had an awesome turn out as usual, Phillip Anthony opened the show and he did great job, NUI did their thing, I love watching those boys, Cynthia and Lisette Melendez tored it up, show that their put alot of time into their act. I enjoyed watching them. BIG thanks to &more for shouting out Club Freestyle, as usual he had the crowd singing along. The stage belongs to him when he is on it. Truly one of the best of the night.Judy Torres held her own despite all of the equipment malfunction, we can definitely the girl can sing, no lip syncing on her part. George Lamond looked delicous and I can watch him sing all night. Coro had the girl :drool and the guys wishing their had a body like his. Oh yeah loved his performance. Betty Dee looked bootiful, gotta give the girl props because although she performed all weekend she came on stage and gave her all.( wanted to see chuck up there with her) Noel gave a heartfelt shout out to our mililtary and dedicated Silent Morning to them. Also made some lovely comments on how freestyle belongs to Latino's because whites have rock, African American have rap. (Dayer wasnt liking that comment) :lol
Two without Hat's got the crowd pumping again with the boricua anthem and Im sorry to say I didnt stay for K7, my feet hurt. Old age is catching up.

Now for the Club, The infamous COPA COBANA had no beer, no juices or soda for drinks, the audio sucked big time and the fact that the doors opened at ten, we got shoved into a room and left there for an hour. For such a big show, the Copa did a shitty job in recieving.

I wanna second Betty's post in thanking all who attended... We are Nothing without the people who love and support the music. There's no greater feeling than being up there and having such a great crowd of people singing along with you. This was the biggest show I have ever done in NYC, my hometown... and I couldnt have asked for a better night.
Just sharing the stage with all the Artists I have been listening to, dancing to and growing with all these years was a great feeling. Having my Mom come up on stage to share in that experience made the night so much more Special, and the Icing on the cake was the crowd that came out, you were all unbelievable and there arent enough words to express how greatful I am for the Freestyle Fans, Artists, Producers and Promoters that made lastnight possible. Infinite thanx to Sal and Kenny for making me a part of lastnight.
NU IMAGE... u guys always do a great job, and Im glad to see u guys represented when it REALLY Counts, hopefully alot more people know that Freestyle is Still here and we're Still Doin it! lol

omg i gotta see the videos and pics, i have to wait another 2 years until im allowed to go in there so i wanna hear and see everything associated with last night lol
