Okay peeps, for those of you who went, tell us how was it. 😀 Do you have pics? Give us the feedback.

We couldn't go. I had too much to do here to prepare for today and by the time I finished it was 1AM. :rolleyes
 
Well I guess peeps are still sleeping. I didnt go myself, but I was talking to my girl Delicious through the night and I heard Johnny o, GL and Lisa Lisa sing. It sounded so crazzie over the phone imagine how crazzie it was there. Girl Deliza thanks so much and it was a pleasure to talk to Legit, Nyasia, Chuck D, MyonlySweetie and damm there was someone else sorry to who it was. Love ya all mmuuaazz
 
We had a good time. Stood all the way in the back, up on top, directly infront of the stage. Good view. But they had technical difficulties. Saw Manny when we were leaving in the garage.
 
It was aiight. I enjoyed Joyce Simms, Gioia, & Johnny O. Aside from the technical difficulties that Joyce & Gioia had to sustain, I think they did fairly well. I'd be surprisd if those dudes up in the sound booth still have their jobs- they couldn't get Gioia's shit right and made the crowd wait a good 15 minutes. Despite all that- she rocked it.

Saw Steve B., Legit, Manny, Alex, Baby1010, Dj Jiggly, FreeJack, Smoothie, LaMondfan, FreestylePete, Seductive Nena, MyOnlySweetie, Dj James Anthony, Diane, Scotman, Delicious, Edagliere, Nya, DJ Paradise, Queensgurl, Jazzy (by cell phone :lol).....I'm sure I'm missing peeps, If I left you off, sorry!!!!!!!

Cynthia opened the show, her set was banging, her dancers were great. Johnny O. was next, they did "Dreamboy/Dreamgirl" and then Johnny did his own set. George Lamond did his big hits, and closed the set with one of his salsa songs. Joyce Sims followed with "(You Are My) All & All". Gioia took the stage with her dancers, and did the Expose` hits. The Cover Girls came on after, and then Rob Bass & DJ E-Z Rock.
Lisa Lisa was the bomb. The crowd was chanting over & over "LISA, LISA, LISA, LISA".

I didn't stay to see K-7/swing kids/TKA.

I have tinitus (ringing in the ears) and if I stay at these shows too long, the ringing gets really intense. They are ringing now.

The place was PACKED!!!! I think it was the best turnout for a freestyle show that I've seen in a long time!
 
The show was great 🙂 I got to meet George LAmond, K7 (my love) lol, Candela, JohhnyO, Cynthia, Rob Base among others 🙂 It was great seeing and meeting everyone 🙂 Legit, Del, ChuckD, Manny, Alex, Baby1010, FreestylePete, Smoothie, MyOnlySweetie, Delicious, Edagliere, Nyasia, DJ Paradise, Kenny Guido, Diane and anyone else I may have forgottento mention. I'll post up my pics later on after I get over my slight hangover🙂

I have too say that Gioia was a bit upset that she didn't do her new dance ver. of "Point Of No Return" because the CD did not work on the clubs audio equipment. I am the producer of that track along with Dave Fields. We had planed on breaking that track for the 1st time last night, It would have been the first time a anyone would have heard it. We are sorry to let you all down as it seemed everyone was interested in hearing it. We were a bit nervous about even doing the track, but its so hot that even the most die-hard freestyle fans would have loved it ...This track is going to move, I have no doubt in my mind, You will get to hear it, but it would have been fun to see the crowds reaction on this new high NRG dance track, and to have let everyone at the Copa experince that.... Sorry ...

it blew away last years by far it was amazing i never thought i would see cyntha she is amazing she never fails to disappoint johnny o and cynthia do dream girl dream boy that was great hearing
of course was really imopressed with johnny o was the first time for me to see live then george lamond steped on to the stage he just tore it up(what else is new) gioia was awsome as well and what a body the rest of the show was off the hook

I had a nice time it was nice seeing everyone. Chuck U are the best Dance partner! Nice meeting all the new faces. Jazzy Do U know GL took my cell phone right out of my hand while he was on stage and sang to you Girl? I was holding it up in the air. I tried to tell U but with all the screaming, U didnt hear me. My Feet are killing me I didnt get here till 10 am. I am going back to sleep, While the turkey is cooking. Happy Gobble Gobble Day everyone God Bless U All!

WOW, I HAD A GREAT TIME. IT WUS SOOOOOOOOOOO COOL TO SEE ALL THERE. WOW. IT WUS COOL TO MEET CHUCKD ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS GUY CAN DANCE HIS @$$ OFF . EVER TIME I SAW HIM HE WUS DANCING. WE HAVE TO MAKE HIM PART OF THE "ARTIE & LEGIT' GROUP... GREAT TO MEET U. AND ALSO IT WUS VERY NICE TO SEE ALL THE OTHERS FROM DIFF SITES SAY HI TO OTHERS. THAT WUS VERY COOL...... A Wonderful Night of Freestyle @ The Copa

What can i say? The night was great. I got to hang out in the dj booth and the vip section the whole night. First off Mad Props to the God Father of Freestyle Sal Alberto For Hooking me up with comp passes. When i walked into the club the first place i headed was to the dj booth where KTU's own DJ James Anthony was about to start mixing. Hes a cool guy and taught me a few things about mixing. Then hanging out with Mickey Garcia was great and had me dancing in the dj booth. Nice to see Guisseppi D again. Then I meet a new friend "shorty angel" and invited her to the dj BOoth where DJ Lucho tore up the hiphop,. We were ripping it up in the dj booth. Asside for a few technical difficulties the show sound wise was perfect. Being on the side of the stage the problem with Goia was that the cd she brought wasnt working on cd players in the dj booth. BUt damn i would have love to heard the new remix she was about to sing. Man i saw crowds back in the days at the Beatstock in Staten Island when TKA first reunited where the 10,000 peeps where chanting TKA but last night when Lisa Lisa performed it was truely an amazing experience with the crowds going Lisa! Lisa! She has to be the founder of freestyle music. The part i didnt like about the show was when K7 was about to perform they made everybody leave the side of the stage. That part was nonsense. Now shouts out to Mike Arce, Manny, Deliza, Veronica, Chuck D, Sal A, Kenny, Big Rob, Evelyn of the Covergirls, Lissete Melendez, Cool Al from Queens, Armando, Larry Vee, ed algiere,Jimmy and PKO Records Crew, Freestyle Chulo, Seductive Nena, Sammy and thats all i can remember now. Sorry if i forget anybody.
 
Wow, what an amazing night it was!! To get to see Johnny O after so many years! It was truly a pleasure! As the others have said, all the performances were awesome despite some technical difficulties.

I wanna give a special shout to my homie >> Delisious for finally make it there!

To finally meeting some new friends, FreestyleChulo (fresco), SeductiveNena, Baby1010, and to seeing other friends, Alex (ay papi), Ed, Pete (playboy, who's the girl?), Legit, ChuckD (where's the smurf?!), Lamondfan, Kenny, Manny, BigRob, Meli (love the tat), Nyasia, DJ Paradise, Jennifer and Mike (thanks for the spot by the stage).
