So many thoughts going thru my head
as I lay here in my bed
How I wish they would just fly away
but instead they stay

They sit and linger in my mind
They tear up into my soul
eating up my whole insides
leaving nothing for me to hold

Confusion is what I feel
The words you would whisper in my ear
When I thought you were for real
but was it really you I would hear

With you I feel like we're on this roller coaster
one minute I'm flying high into the skies
the next I'm fallin and I can't seem to get any closer
If only I could see what's behind your eyes

I know when to face the truth
I know I have to wake up from this dream
I know I have to give up on you
Life isn't fair atleast from what I've seen
