How do you compare the days of Freestyle to the days of todays music?
What are your opinions, "constructive" criticisms of the pros and cons of then and now?

At one point, back in the 80's-90's, Freestyle was everywhere in the streets. You would go into your local "bodega" (store) and hear freestyle coming from the radio, the cars, the "boom boxes" people would walk with, etc. Then as Freestyle faded out because of hip-hop, it was hip-hop you started hearing everywhere. With this change of music, the era changed also............... Rap to me, (constructive criticism) has been mostly, not all, negative to todays young society. Back in the 80's-90's when it was only freestyle, it wasn't negative. It wasn't degrading anyone. And believe me I have kids that listen to that music.

Do you think there will ever be a change later in the future?

I think there is. We don't know it. Radio listenership is down for the past few years. There are many other ways people can hear music now besides Radio and MTV(with what videos they still play). I think a new revelution of music has already started. There are other other options now to get music like net radio and satalitte radio.
