1/4 pound bacon
Cube of butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup milk
2 Tablespoons wine vinegar
Favorite pasta
2 eggs, whipped
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut bacon up into little pieces and cook until clear in a cube of butter. Heat milk in a small saucepan and add the bacon and butter. Add wine vinegar. This will turn the milk to cheese. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the sauce cooks smooth.

Boil your favorite pasta. Drain and return to the pan. Immediately throw in eggs, the above sauce, and Parmesan or Romano cheese. Season with salt and pepper, toss and serve.


OH MAN THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FOOD... ITS DEFINITELY WORTH IT TO COOK!!!! And if you want to make it "Sicilian style" just throw in peas, lmao!!

with that dish "bistec empanadizado" it's one of my faves too but make sure you marinate that meat at least for 3 hrs so it's flavorful....and of course I make it w/freshly cut french fries.

just make sure you marinade the bistec w/some sofrito, salt, fresh minced garlic, pepper, and a small packet of sazon con achiote...and then hours later you can bread it and fry it.
 
yes, or a bodega (latin supermarket).....people marinade meats w/different things...you have to mix and match and find what appeals to you.

that's cold cod fish salad with what you might interpret as spanish potatoes, cassava ect
 
we italians have the same thing.i love bacala salad.only thing is i soak the bacala for a day in lemon water,to kill some of the salt

no artichokes.....just red onions, olives, sliced boiled eggs, and some fresh avocado & olive oil...aye dios mio! ya making me hungry. lol!

yes the big green ones w/the piece of pepper in it.... nah nah!!! I had cereal....but talking about food doesn't make it seem enough. lol!

My stomach is grumbling!!!! yummy....I am not a bacalao fanatic...but I love ensalada de bacalao...and the gaspacho (PR version with bacalao and avacados) yummy!!!!!!
