how much stupider

can co workers be these days. no wonder theres like 20 million or whatever the number is that started there own business. cuase to work alongside people today is like to work in a day care center?


yo between distracted co workers. playing with there cell playing on the web playing on the phone. taking 60 thousand smoke breaks. playing outside.

between there never ending stupid f****en ideas. that take up prob 1 hour of the day. between the non stop fratinization that exists in these places of work these days.

between the overload of foriegners and low educated fellow americans working along side compitent people.


do you think its time for Heavy legislation for proper Work Rules and procedures. on national scale. maybe with aptitude tests for certain positions???? in a way that it dont affect the economy.

covering the most annoying parts of the work day.

1. Zero tolerance for over fratinization: meaning turing 1 hour of the work day into a convo.

2. Zero tolerence for personal frat: talking about personal lives at work


3. Dead Red Zero tolerorence for personal comments of any type.

4. Dead Red Zero tolerence for inquiry into personal life from 9 to 5.

5. Dead Red Zero tolerence for gossip


and Then just general clamp down on:


6. Distraction. meaning no playing with anything. phone web e mail nothing. just work!


7. pers phone calls none !


8. absolutley no talking at work ??? to anyone lllllollll.


9. and limitations of the ""open office"". meaning no more 50 stupid ideas a day. meaning One person


out of 10 thinks of the ideas. the rest just work !!!! like in the old days.


its like this generation of corp america spends 2 hours a day in meetings talking about non sense.

and thinking of dum stupid ideas. half of which never work??? ""oh but at least its an open office they tell you""



was it just my imagination?? or in the old days 25 years ago. executives where the only people !!! The only people !!! who went to meetings. the rest mid level and lower level management worked!!!!

and everybody else f****en worked !!!!!!

im esp interested in people over 30 replies. cuase they can still remember how it use to be with employment security. and job for life type places. where you retired with the golden watch lloll.

and strict displined work enviroments we grew up with in the old days?
 
What, did you used to work in a prison camp? I believed that work has become more personal because they came up with this theory that people tend to be more productive if they enjoy their jobs. Yes some people tend to go a little crazy and are just plain lazy. And I've met many foreigners who are less educated but work a heluva lot better than the so called highly educated people.

cuase they wanna make it harder for the employee to keep his job. and make less barriers for communication. Or cuase they wanted to water down respect something.

which tradiotionaly use to exist for employees in this country. so its really an attaack on respect and tradition.

so what do you guys feel about heavy legislation?

i cant be the only person who feels like this? cuase obviously you guys have experienced all this before.

and the AFL cio is breaking up.

you know its hallarious.

cuase where makeing the exact same dollar adjusted for inflation we were making back in the day. cuase eevrything is more expensive.

so these modern day salaries. are just fanatasy.

were maeking the exact same dollar that we made back in the day.


except now we multi task. and now we have to hear everybodies freeking personal story

from who there banging right down to what there kid ate for dinner last night ?


this is one of things i feel most strongly about in my life. i think its time for legislation to protect the worker.


i also think that if a person works there 8 months. after that they should be held perm

for 3 years.

and if theyre fired. there whole salary foward.

no i didnt work in a prison camp. you just cant imagine how i hate being judged

on my personliaty and my prefromance. i think its almost illgeal.

i think its almost discriminatory belive it or not. thats how strongly i feel about it.


i just feel to the bottom of my bones. that a person should go into work. do their job and go home.

in fact its so bad for me.


cuase im like public enemy in the office lllolll. i dont like my concentration disturbed while im working. yes im one of those anal retentive type. thats what i would be labeled these days.

but its so bad for me i have contacted a lawyer. so if i do go back to corporate.

cuase im getting tired of the limo llloll. the place is gonna have to sign a contrat.

on work enviroment i expect.

i tell ya i can feel more strongly about this. it infuriates me that i gotta see my peers water down the work place.
 
I think it all depends on what type of job it is. Yeah, maybe a job that has more independant work, maybe it needs to be a little more serious, but if you gotta work with other people alot, it's kinda good to get to know them. But what does annoy me is that I take my work very seriously in whatever I do, and I put 100% into it and am damn good at what I do and then someone comes along and earns more than me or gets promoted for the stupidest reasons(like a relation to someone else in the company or other reasons) while it is obvious they are quite useless.
 
while dianita. i think that that tip about people get promoted ahead or more money stuff.

im never been big on that. cuase i run my house and always have for 15 years now. on a very low budget. so its really dosnt matter what you pay me or dont?


im more big on work enviroment. in fact i think were so far away from that. that its incredibile.i think we need to concentrate on getting the company or the work enviroment and employees the dignity. they once had.

then conc on who deserves what promotions and pay.

cuase is as right now. an employee and a german shepard. are about the same thing to this generation of american employers and business leaders.

what has to go first. is this rediculous adopted notion. that its better fro captialism

that people can be fired at any moment. or "work at will"" enviroment.

then we go from there.

and then we need to adopt. s sense of permemence and stability. like the american workers once famousily had.


after 8 months of employment. you gotta keep him for 3 years period !!!!

everything i post is assuming the person is doing there job. if not all bets are off!!


but stability has to come back to the work place. and a seperation of professionalism and personal convo needs to happen to.

we need to have our once well defined border lines in the work place. that have been erased over the last 15 years.


right back up again.

so that way we can go back to having a life. instead of being in the office 60 hours a week.

and going home and spending 10 hours a week telling your significant other.
