DSM is Diamond Star Motors, thats when Mitzu, Ply, and Eagle got together and made a alliance called DSM. They made a plant in the US where they churned out 4 types of cars.

Ply Laser
Eagle Talon
Mitzu Eclipse
Mitzu Galant

They shared almost the same exact internals, and they proved to be a excellent ride for speed at a low cost.

DSM alliance ended in 97 or 98 when they all went their separate ways... and so the Dynasty was over, but the following is still very much strong.

I am a proud owner of a 98 Mitzu Eclipse GSX... modded for speed... soon to be coupled with looks...

you have a nice ride there man.. take good care of it.

thanks, its my show car, so its in storage, i take pride in it, i did not know about DSM thats pretty bad a$$, they should have kept goin... i'm a for man, but when i bout the Mitsubishi, i was like wow, that car has more potential than my ford Fairmont, that was my lowrider, so i worked on the galant, and vuala! nice ride, i took the galant to indiana to a friend of the family's shop he did a great job on the exteriou paint and ground effects, the engine work, and the air ride lifting kit

yeah believe me i can see that there is plenty of work done to that, and all of it good. congrats on it... how low is that sucker to the ground? (never too low but just curious)

very good pic. Seems u spend quite a lot of bills.

um, 8th-sin... i heard that Eagle and Eclipse both got the same Mitsu. engines.. and i also heard they are not good.

good looking cars though,... gotta give it to u....

I'm a proud owner of a slammed Camaro... and my new upsoming project a CRX... a proven FASTEST UNIBODY HONDA... sweet.

Actually all three of them share the same engine (4G63), tranny, and even the ECU.

just like any car, they had their issues... but if you look around, you will see a 1st Generation DSM with over 200K miles on the motor running 10's and 11's in the track, all with stock internals and nothing but bolt on's. The engines are extremely powerful.... or can be modded properly.

It's pretty amazing when you see a little 4 cylinder DSM pushing 375-400hp at the wheels...

yeah... but u gotta do SO much to achieve those numbers.... i like feeling the V8 power

Not necessarily true 1sxychica. You can make so many different types of modifications to these type car's. For every different type mod, there are higher potentials made to the overall performance of the vehicle. The beauty is that you do not need so many different type combinations. For example: A simple boost controller...let's say an HKS/EVC-EZ when you have installed a turbo, which is very simple to do yourself and practically inexpensive. Can increase your car's performance dramatically. Can you say whip lash? I feel it all the time..lmao. Add an HKS Super Dragger Exhaust by Akamoto, once again can be done yourself and inexpensive and your car breathes like a baby, while turning heads as you drive by the masses. Trust me, with a little done to these car's, you can accomplish so much. :1luv

Hey..do you have any hidden surprises under all them colorful wiring?? I am a chick..I know nuttin about cars!!!😛
