Club Mtv Returns

For those of u who have VH1 classic station on your cable provider, this coming sunday, march 20, between 1pm - 7pm, VH1 will reair classic episodes of CLUB MTV.

As some of you may or may not know, some of our beloved freestyle artists have made appearances on this dance show, such as SAFIRE, SWEET SENSATION, COVER GIRLS, LISETTE MELENDEZ.

I don't know if the episodes being shown will include the above artists, but it'll be worth looking at. You can at least enjoy going down memory lane.

Right now they are airing an 1990 Episode which aired Sweet Sensation-Love Child.

Im taping each episode. The 2nd episode featured the cover girls performing! I'm hoping they show at least 1 or 2 other freestyle performers.

I have the performance & interview of SAFIRE, it would be nice to have the entire episode.

So great to see the palladium once more, that was a great club!!

What fun to see all the crazy styles, dances, etc....

I'm such an 80's cheesehead! I really miss it.

hope they rerun some more episodes in the future!!

It brings tears to see what a great show that was and the fact, MTV was a network woth watching then. Nowadays; it's all about Super Sweet 16, I want a Famous Skank face, PoweRtramps!!!!!!!!

It really showed how fun dance music is and the good vibe it gave then. I cannot get that kind of good vibe listening to..50Cent. Please.

VH-1 did a great job with running the Club MTV shows on VH-1 Classics yesterday - I was shocked to see so many familiar faces, including a few peeps who were on Dance Party back in the day - as well as seeing Anastacia as a dancer, prior to her becoming the international success she is today. Goes to show you, you never know who might be the next big talent on one of those shows.. 🙂

If you go to VH1.com, post on their Message Board. Their producers read the posts regularly to see what type of programming that you all might want to see. How do you think the Jets "Where Are They Now" clip got aired so much 😉
