Starting today, 6 Clear Channel stations will suspend the airing of Howard Sterns morning show due to his reaction of the two big companies; Infinity and Clear Channels get tough on content policy on Monday. Today, Clear Channel is not to appear 8 blocks from where I work; Capitol Hill to speak about the radio content in the post Janet, Justin boobgate era. Are these big radio companies and The FCC going too far now!!!!!!!!?

My thoughts are, Howard is not going to want his show to reair on those stations. My thoughts are, if you don't like what these wacky morning shows discuss or want your kids to hear it.... CHANGE THE GOD DAMN CHANNEL!!!!

Howard, Elvis Duran, Elliot(DC), Don and MIke should not have to scale down their shows just because some stupid surburban mini van soccer mom don't want their kids to hear their topics. Change the channel, OK!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Ive been listening to him since 6 am and he hasnt said he doesnt want to be bought back on. hes been getting calls all morning from upset listeners in those markets. I dont think he would want to lose listeners/supporters.
 
Great point Joe.

These guys should not have to scale down their show for nobody. parents needs to raise their own kids, not radio shows, nor athletes, nor musicians.
 
its true last time i checked there was more then one radio station they can change it they should take rap off the air to . bring back freestyle and then i will put my radio back on but since they play stuff i dont like i just dont lisn to it .

I agree with you on this MIKE I always have agreed with what I highlighted there. Mothers are always complaining about graphic shows and all this other BS when they are the ones who are letting thier children watch them I honestly do not think it is that big of a deal my mother did not want me watching Bevs and Butthead when they were real big on MTV so my mother monitered what I watched all the time and believe me I was never able to watch that show. Now when my child gets bigger and I do not want her to watch something I will do as my mother did. It is that simple if my mother could do it then so can I. The thing with the soccer mom she obviously listens to him alot so she knows what his show is about, is it his fault that he spoke about whatever he spoke about that while she was driving with children in her van? NO people need to make sense now adays Im tired of all this BS about video games, Whats on TV now and the radios its 2004 get over it. Things have changed
 
I've seen the show recently and when I was younger maybe once or twice in my aunts house and I didnt take any interest in that show till this day I think its stupid

dont you remember the NON METAL videos they showed? like GERALDO? WEIRD AL? BEASTIE BOYS? they made fun of the videos they didnt like.

Like I said for these dumb a$$ soccer moms. There is always the Light Rock or Mix stations. Hello, kids has walkmans, you don't what they are listening too.
