OK kiddies, lets blow this thread up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since there aren't a big deal with cartoons now except for Cartoon network and Japanese Animie.

What were your favorite cartoons growing up on saturday mornings and the old UHF channels(pre UPN, FOX, WB) of the 60's, 70's 80's even early 90's?

Now when I look at them the animation doesn't compare to now and some of the writing on the cartoons were cheesy. It's the stuff you don't notice as a kid.

Oh yeah I also liked StarBlazers and G-Force!! Galaxy Rangers was cool too!!
I enjoyed SuperFriends once they got rid of the scooby doo like characters of Wendy and Marvin and that dog! That was sooo lame!!! Kid side characters always ruin cartoons!! When I watched the cartoons it was for the main characters, the heroes and the cool villains who cares about anybody else!

My favorite cartoon movie? Transformers the movie! The animation rocked and it had the biggest villain of all a giant mechanicle planet that devoured other planets and transformed into the gigantic robot UNICRON!!! Mini Unicron is my avatar!

Still looking for 'Cron's toy from the new Energon line -- from the pics I've seen, the new colors make him look even MORE bad@$$! 😱
 
I put this thread up because, it seems like there is not a big deal for saturday morning cartoons anymore. ABC only air Disney cartoons, CBS only air Nick toons.

Yeah Scott I bought the regular armada version of the Chaos Bringer. Its really cool!! He's displayed in a dramatic pose right now in my room! I don't think I'll buy the energon one though. They do say the energon one looks cool under black light though. As for saturday morning cartoons? Yeah they suck it's not like back in the day. All the best cartoons now are on the Cartoon network! Kaaaaaaaaaaaaameeeeeeehamehaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^ yeah, I ended up half-accidentally getting two, intending to sell the extra on Ebay but never got around to it...going to wind up in Toy Hell for this, but when I see the new one: find a store with both, grab EnerCron, use his receipt and the extra ArmadaCron to get some store credit... :shhh :aangel




...and how many toys are articulated enough to "flip the bird"? 😀 :blah
 
Cartoon back in the day were way better and now it nothing but garbage. It is not that good at all. In addition, some channel has limit the amount of cartoon to be air on Saturday morning. Even in the weekday too as I recently notice.
