Another edition of Childhood Radio. The time Rock radio was great. Today, it's going to spotlight Genesis and Phil Collins. Genesis released their first album in the early 70's as an Art Rock group. Peter Gabrel was their lead singer. Their drummer was Phil Collins. In 1975 Gabrel left the band to start a monster solo carrer in the 80's. Their new lead singer of course was Phil!! He gave the band some big hits in the 80's along with a power solo carrer.

and there original guitar player was steve hackett at one time there held the guiness world book record for having the longest deepest bass note on a song called fith of fife which is on the selling england buy the pound album used to drive the sales peop,le at the old audio exchange when they used to be in roosvelt field when i wanted to demo a speaker with this record lol

Phil is the man.

I admit, I'm a big fan of The Tarzan song. But Phil wrote some great songs along with the time he was with Genesis!!

Peter Gaberel had some good songs too.
