Chicago's "Wake Up Dancing", 8/23/02...not!

Good morning, all!

It's 7:42am Central, and normally I'd be in the middle of another edition of "Wake Up Dancing" but nooooooooooooooo...

This morning the studio doors were locked and security wouldn't let me in because "I wasn't on the 24 hour access" list.

Let's see, I trudge through the rain, pay for two bus rides, two train rides, a Chicago Sun-Times, a Dunkin Donuts breakfast just to crash a radio station?

Anyhow, someone named Ann is on the air now running regular format...not quite the new Sharyn Maceren I was planning to play, or the latest Nyasia interview that I was going to air, or even the Kool Kutt Kaos mix that I had lined up, but oh-well.

Let's see how next Friday shapes up from 6am to 9am Central on WLUW (88.7 FM) in Chicago.

Krystal...I'm on the scheduled list, but not the 24 access list. Which means that I can get into the building, but not the studio-if it's locked!
