Good Saturday, all!
Wow, what a Saturday here in the Windy City. At 12:15, it's the Cubs and the Yankees at Wrigley Field as Roger Clemons goes for number 300 against Kerry Wood. Then later tonight, it's the "Back To BMX"-The Old School Reunion show at the Aragon Ballroom featuring Nice-N-Wild (David Torres), Fast Eddie (okay, he's Hip House), the Sugerhill Gang (15 min..."Rappers Delite"), the Cover Girls, Shannon, Stevie B (finally Freestyle!) and a reunion of the original Hot Mix Five (minus Farley Keith/"Jackmaster Funk"...
In between, the "Club Kids" will be on the air once again from 3pm to 4pm Central on Chicago's WLUW (88.7 FM) and www.wluw.org . I encourage you to post requests, comments, etc. as the Kids generally get excited when we go Freestyle with the webcast/broadcast.
Chicago-give us a ring at 1.773.508.9589...it ought to be fun. I've got the new Latin Nation CD, Ashley, Ayna and Ash even sent me the new Bad Boy Joe compilation.
It may only be 60 minutes, but what's the alternative?
