We've seen a few posts here that talk about "the highest charting freestyle song".

I've done some research, and here are the results.

I found the following results with the help of the website allmusic.com

I'm including acts that are "debatable" as freestyle, because some peeps call them freestyle, and some don't.

All the positions listed are the peak position for the Billboard Top 100 chart, not R&B, Club Play, 12 inch sales, or any other charts.

Thanks for posting this information. I don't think the position number is that important. I mean, it's amazing how many Freestyle artists were actually in Billboard on the Top 100! Truly fascinating. These artists definitely made an impact on Dance/ Pop Music. It's nice to see some true classics up there? One thing though, I'm surprised "Diamond Girl" by Nice-n-Wild isn't up there.
