It could have been '86. I didn't have the record in front of me, so I was just digging into the crevices of my aging mind. My memory isn't what it used to be.

Yeah the rap group was Fantasy Three with Charlie Rock, Silver Fox and Larry D. The song was "Its Your Rock. The legendary Larry Levan did production on that record and also the President of PKO O.C Rodriguez who also was in a rap group called The Fearless Four. A little music history lesson. I've got Charlie Rock's "She's My Baby Love" and a 2 album record set off of Next Plateau, like Rhoq mentioned in 1987. Claims to be a remix("the classics remixed"), so it could have been released in 1986.

And Charlie 'Rock' Jimenez and Charlie 'Babie' Rosario are 2 different people...

no, 2 totally different people.

charlie rock is a huge producer as well. he discovered "giggles" and "gilette" (short dick man)
 
And Charlie Babie has also produced some of Gillette's songs, eg 'Short Dick Man' and 'Sex Tonight'...both two talented producers...
