*Javiar and Carlos sit at the kitchen table, and start to eat their breakfast.*
(Javiar) "So tell me about that night."
(Carlos) "There's nothing to tell Javiar."
(Javiar) "There must be something to tell, you have a daughter now."
(Carlos) "I was at a club that night. I had a few drinks.....and this woman came up to me. She was older than me, and I was underage. The club had a policy of 21 and older, but I had a fake id. I was 17. I wasn't out of the closet yet, and was very happy that an older woman would take a fancy in me. I guess she didn't know or refused to guess that I was gay, and we hit the floor. I guess some guy who wanted to be with her decided to take action. Whoever it was, spiked her drink while we were dancing. We went back to her car, and she was acting "woozy" so I drove her home. When I got her there, I started feeling woozy too, and things just happened."
(Javiar) "You didn't even know you had a daughter, did you?"
(Carlos) "No. We went our separate ways after that, and I guess she found out about my job as "Chiquita" and didn't want Daniella to be near me."
(Javiar) "Well, now you know, and you can grow into a family."
*They continue to eat, and Javiar notices that Carlos seems deep in thought, slightly upset.*
(Javiar) "What is the matter, Carlos?"
(Carlos) "Do you still want to marry me?"
(Javiar) "WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
(Carlos) "Well, I mean, I'm someone totally different from who you got engaged to. When we fell in love, I was a club drag queen. Did almost nothing physical. Now, I'm a physical trainer for two half vampires. I'm a male slayer, and deal with monsters. You were kidnapped because of me. And I don't do drag anymore, unless as a disguise. Now, I have a daughter. Things have changed dramatically for me. I would't blame you for deciding to leave."
(Javiar) "Carlos, I fell in love with you not because of what you do, or how you live, or even what you look like. I fell for you because of your sense of humor, your generousity, and your gentle heart. As for what you do now, I consider it like being in love with a firefighter, or police officer. Your job is risky, but I'll put up with that."
*Carlos gets up and hobbles over to Javiar. He gives him a kiss on the cheek, and walks into the living-room to watch tv. He turns it on, and puts his feet on the table. Then, calls to Javiar.*
(Carlos) "Seriously, honey, where did you put my shoes, and jackets?"
(Javair) "Hahahaha! You'll get them back in a week. By that time, you will be healed, and ready to go into the world again."
(Javiar) "So tell me about that night."

*Francisco sits in his office at work. He's busy, as he puts it, "pushing paper". It's not his favorite activity on the job. He'd rather be out on the streets, doing what he does best. The filing of reports is important, but tedious, and it bores him quickly. So when he looks up and sees Daniella standing at his office door, he's happy to have a reason to stop.*
(Francisco) "Dani, hello. Come in please."
(Daniella) "Hello bro. I have news for you."
(Francisco) "What do you have to tell me?"
(Daniella) "I met my birth father this morning."
*Francisco is silent for a few minutes.....*
(Francisco) "How did you find him?"
(Daniella) "I found Mama's diary. She wrote in it the way she met him, and how they connected. Or to put it nicely, had a drug induced one night stand."
(Francisco) "Daniella, I'm sorry."
(Daniella) "Don't be sorry. I know mama loves me, and my father was happy to talk to me. We're making plans to have a dinner soon. Him, myself, and his husband."
(Francisco) "His husband??????"
(Daniella) *laughing* "Yeah, my dad is gay. His name is Carlos ElAmante DelHombre."
(Franciso) "oh great......."
(Daniella) "What's wrong?"
(Francisco) "Mr. ElAmante DelHombre and I have a past. I bought him in for questioning on some incidents about the time that Father Roman Hands was killed during mass. We kinda were rough with him, and he managed to escape. He went into hiding for a while because we were activly searching for him."
(Daniella) "Well then, I suggest you contact him, and apologize to him."
(Francisco) "I won't apologize for police work."
(Daniella) "Now that I found my dad, I'm not gonna have him angry at my brother. *Reaches into her purse* here is his address. Now go there and take care of business. *Leans in and kisses him* It would make me happy."
*In Carlos' apartment, Carlos sits and watches tv. Angelique saved his life, but didn't completly heal him. Carlos assumes that he must have had received a huge beating for him to still feel this pain. He was assured that the pain would be gone by the end of the week, and Carlos thinks to himself, "This is going to be a long week.". Javiar is out buying groceries for Carlos, and the doorbell rings. Carlos gets up (slowly) and limps to the door.*
(Carlos) "Who is it?"
(Francisco) "It's Det. Francisco. Open the door."
*Carlos opens the door and looks at Francisco, the man who made his life difficult for some time not long ago.*
(Carlos) "Come in."
(Francisco) "Thank you, may I sit down."
(Carlos) "Of course."
(Francisco) "I'm here to apologize for the way I treated you some time ago. I was in the middle of major drama, and I took it out on you."
(Carlos) "Why are you here doing this? You can't tell me you just decided to come here and say this."
(Francisco) "My sister asked me to. She met with you this morning. Your daughter Daniella."
(Carlos) "I see. You can tell her that I would never let my anger with you affect my relationship with her. I'm sure that you and I will be friendly at one point. Just be patient."
(Francisco) "I would like to get to know you better too. Can I take you for a drink?"
(Carlos) "Uhhhhh......this is gonna sound stupid. I have no shoes or jacket. My future husband, to keep me home as the doctor orderd, has taken all my jackets and shoes away, so I can't leave."
(Francisco) "hahahahaha!"
(Carlos) "To be honest, I'd leave if they were here, so he knew what he was doing. I'm also still in some pain, so I would take a rain check."
(Francisco) "I would like that."
(Carlos) *Slowly getting up* "Then we'll make plans next week at one point. I know that Daniella and I can't be father and daughter right away, but I would like to have a relationship with her. And you."
(Francisco) "Sounds good. I will tell Daniella to wait for your call."
*Francisco extends his hand, and Carlos shakes it. Francisco leaves and Carlos sits back down.*
(Carlos) *Out loud to himself* "I don't know how many more surprises life can throw at me. hahaha!"
(Francisco) "Dani, hello. Come in please."
(Daniella) "Hello bro. I have news for you."
(Francisco) "What do you have to tell me?"

*Taina is walking around the house. She's looking over everything, to make sure nothing is missing or damaged. She's very surprised that when they moved out of the house to the safety of the church, that the Master's army didn't come and destroy the house.*
(Taina-to herself) "I guess once we left, there was no need to come here. They were after us."
*Satisfied that everything is intact, she sits in the living-room. It is not long after that, the door bell rings. Taina gets up and answers it.*
(Taina) "Marisol, please come in."
(Marisol) "Hiya T, how are you feeling?"
(Taina) "I'm feeling tired. With everything that's been going on, I've been overlooking the way the pregnancy has been affecting me. I'm starting to feel the tiredness and morning sickness. I'm glad you are here. I have to ask you something."
(Marisol) "What is it?"
(Taina) "I know that you have your own place, and you are starting a relationship with Rodolfo, but I was wondering if you would want to move in with me. We'd be able to train together in the use of our powers, you'd be closer to Rodolfo, and living here might help you learn more about mama."
(Marisol) "I'd have to think about it. I enjoy where I am, but being here with you would be great too. I'll let you know when I come to a decision. And speaking of training, when will Carlos be back to work with us?"
(Taina) "Angelique says that Carlos will be back to normal by the begining of next week. He's going to call me to let me know when he's able to come to us. He's still in considerable pain. Rico is on his way there now to visit him."
*Carlos is watching Jerry Springer, thinking to himself, "if only you people knew what REAL drama is..." when he hears his doorbell. He gets up and walks to the door. He sees Rico through the peep-hole and opens the door.*
(Carlos) "Rico, come in!"
(Rico) "Carlos, it is good to see you."
*Rico shakes Carlos' hand and leans in and gives him a strong hug. Carlos hurts, but he doesn't say anything.*
(Carlos) "Please, sit down. Can I get you something to drink?"
(Rico) "If you have a Coke, that's fine."
*Carlos gets two Cokes from the kitchen and sits down.*
(Rico) "You've been in the house for some time now. Do you want to go out?"
(Carlos) "Yes, but I can't. It's a long story. I'll be out of here by the end of the week."
(Rico) "I know you aren't feeling up to 100%, but I feel we should talk."
(Carlos) "In regards to what?"
(Rico) "I know we won a major battle, but not the war. The baby is still missing with the remaining vampires that were under control of the Master. We killed the Master, but now that they are free, who knows what they are capable of."
(Carlos) "I was wondering that myself. Add to the fact that Andreus and Heaven are missing, and there could be trouble."
(Rico) "You don't trust Heaven?"
(Carlos) "No, I don't, but out of respect for Luna, I keep quiet. I know Luna wants to have a relationship with Heaven. Part of me will never trust Heaven. The other part acknowledges that people change, and if Angelique and Teresa can be good vampires, then so can Heaven. If Heaven truly loves her sister, then there is hope."
(Rico) "I hope your last statement is correct. Heaven and Andreus could be powerful allies."
*Rico stops talking as the apartment door opens. It is Javiar, coming in with the groceries.*
(Rico) "Here Javiar. Let me help you."
*Rico and Javiar unpack the groceries, and put them away. They join Carlos in the living-room. Javiar is carrying a small bag.*
(Carlos) "Hello sweetie, what's in the bag?'
*Rico dumps the bag on the coffee table, and out tumble a men's wear magazine, cake magazine, catering menus, music sheets, and other things.*
(Javiar) "If we are going to have a wedding, we have to start planning."
*Carlos rolls his eyes, and Rico sees this and laughs.*
(Rico) "on that note, I'll be leaving. I'll be talking to you both soon. Have a good day."
(Carlos) "Thanks for stopping by. Please tell Taina and Marisol that I will be calling them by the end of the week to set up training time again."
*Rico leaves and Javiar and Carlos get to setting up plans for a wedding. Javiar leaves later in the day, and then it is night. Carlos walks out on the balcony of his apartment. He looks up at the stars, and his mind wanders to previous battles, Teresa, Antonio, and other subjects. Suddenly, he realizes he's not alone, he turns to his right to see Heaven standing on the balcony with him.*
(Heaven) "Hello Carlos. You ARE good. You noticed my presence as soon as I appeared here.
(Carlos) "What can I do for you Heaven?"
(Heaven) "Nothing. I was curious to see how you were.
(Carlos) "Sore, but healing."
(Heaven) "I'm sorry that Angelique was unable to finish on you."
(Carlos) "No you're not. If she stayed with me, Andreus would've been in my position now. It's ok. I'm dealing with it."
(Heaven) "You don't trust me yet, do you?"
(Carlos) "No, but I'm sure the feeling is mutual as well."
(Heaven) "Yes, so I guess we know where we stand with each other."
(Carlos) "Yes we do. As long as we respect each other, it will be ok. Just so you know, Angelique hasn't given up on finding a way to get your soul back. She's going over every book she's got, looking for an answer."
(Heaven) "I appreciate that."
(Carlos) "How is Luna?"
(Heaven) "She's doing well."
(Carlos) "I'm sure you're still watching over her, so please let her know if she finds herself in a situation that she needs help, call us."
(Heaven) "I will."
*With that, Heaven disappears from the balcony. Carlos turns around and walks in. He places a crucifix on the window, and closes the drapes. He's had enough for one day, and turns in to go to bed.*

alberto arrives home late at night from hanging out with some chicks he met at some place couldnt even remember from being alittle buzz from some beers he dranks but um who cares, was feeling nice took off his shoes turn on the tv and just chill for the night but before anything...
alberto knocks on carlos door just to check on him
(alberto)yo carlos you awake? yooooo?(says in a low voice).
(carlos turns over and says)yeah now i am whats up?
(alberto) nah just got home now, i didnt see u in the living room so i thought you was out tonight so i wanted to see if you was here.
(carlos)oh ok......i had some ppl here earlier so um i felt tire and just went to bed.
(alberto)what? did your javiar gave you a nice workout that you couldnt take it no more?(ask laughing)
(carlos)no stupid! i was just talking with rico at first when he stop by then he left within a while and javiar came back from doin the groceries and heaven also came by too thats all.

*There is a cave in the woods behind Taina's house. Back......far back. It is lit by firelight. A large boulder covers the entrance. There is a baby crying behind the boulder. It is not in a crib, but in a coffin. It is surrounded by 6 of the robed vampires that escaped the carnage of the last battle. Suddenly, a dark mist spills in one of the small cracks around the boulder. The mist forms and it is the remaining vampire. *Luna is home after a long night of stalking vampires. It was a slow hunt for her, only 10 kills today. She takes off her body armor and gets into the shower. After washing the messes of the hunt from her body, she gets into bed. She quickly falls into a deep sleep. As she sleeps she dreams.....she dreams of a baby on an altar. A dark shadow floats to the baby, and rears it's head back, and slams it's fangs into the baby's neck. The shadow drains the baby, and when it looks up, it's eyes are glowing with pure evil. Luna snaps awake, in a cold sweat.*
(Luna-to herself) "Heaven, please let that shadow not be you, PLEASE......."

*It is the next morning, and Carlos gets up. He hears Alberto leaving the bathroom, and walking back into the spare room. "Hmmm, he's up early." thinks Carlos. He grabs his robe and walks to the bathroom. It's easier to move around now, but still feels achey. Carlos gets to the bathroom and gets into the shower. He sets the water to very hot, and turns the shower head to "massage". It beats down on his back and legs, and feels good. "I hope I never get a beating like that again." Carlos says out loud. He dries himself off and gets dressed. He walks to the living room and sees Alberto, all dressed up and looking sharp.*
(Carlos) "What's up cuz??"
(Alberto) "I've got an appointment for today, orientation for my new job."
(Carlos) "Really?"
(Alberto) "Yup. It turns out that Maria's brother has a business and needs computer skilled people. He hired me on the spot."
(Carlos) "Congratulations."
(Alberto) "Thanks. I should have a place of my own soon too. I'd ask you to go out and celebrate with me, but you look stiff today."
(Carlos) "It's getting better, actually. But I still don't have my stuff from Javiar, so I can't go out. But back to your job....isn't it going to be trouble, working with your girlfriend's brother?"
(Alberto) "Maria and I haven't dated in a while. We both decided to see others. She was not unhappy about the situation, so I have no worries now."
(Carlos) "You're probably already onto the next number."
(Alberto) "Cuz, you know me soo well. Watch......."
*Alberto grabs his cell and dials a number. After a few seconds, he starts to talk.....*
(Alberto) "Well hello......this is a voice from the recent past.....can you guess?????? Yes, Dona Lengua Larga, it is I, Alberto ElChulo. I have news......I have just gotten a job with a local business, and was wondering if I could entice you to have dinner with me to celebrate???? My treat, of course! You can? Wonderful.......I will pick you up. How about 7:30 this evening? Great. See you then."
*Just then, Carlos' doorbell rings, and Alberto answers it.*
(Javiar) "Good morning. Well, look at Mr. Hottie Pants."
(Alberto) "Look, but dont' touch........"
(Javiar) "Oh come on......."
(Carlos) "Javiar, maybe you and Alberto would get along if you didn't instigate....*
(Alberto) "I don't have time for this anyway. I'll talk to you later."

*Carlos, knowing to argue would be useless, changes, and lets Javiar treat him. Under normal circumstances, it would be relaxing and romantic. However, Carlos is only able to focus on the pain.*

(Carlos) "I know....but I'm going stir crazy in this apartment. That's not helpping matters."

*Carlos puts on other clothes, and joins Javiar in the kitchen, who happened to whip up some pancakes while Carlos was getting ready.*

*Javiar starts to clean up after breakfast and the bell rings again. Carlos walks over to the door and opens it. To his surprise.......there stands Luna.......................*

Meanwhile in a secret dark hidden tunnel Angelique steps down a long narrow stairs with torches lighting the very old stone walls to a hidden chamber. She makes her way and walks to a hallway that has very old tapestry hanging in a certain pattern. Angelique looks at each different one and stops infront of a certain one. She then whispers an encantation in old latin and suddenly the tapestry ripples as though it were water and then stops. Angelique then walks through the tapestry as if it weren't there.
Inside there is a large room and there are three large wooden book shelves filled with books and small animal like statues that seem to look in the direction of Angelique's movements. Down further there are alot of candles decorating stone wall shelving and pedestals and there is a woman seated in front of a marbel table with a bowl of water in front of her. The woman is dressed in a long gown and has very long blond white hair down to her knee level and is wearing some sort of headdress that looks like gold chain link. She is a beautiful woman with the brightest blue eyes and pale complexion. Angelique nods her head in respect toward her and the woman nods her head back and gestures with her hand to sit. Angelique sits. The woman's name is Ofelia and she is from a long line of oracles leading back to the ancient greek oracle of Delphi. The two look at each other eye to eye and then begin a telepathic conversation as they have done in the past because they are used to speaking to each other with their minds. It also keeps the peaceful silence of the room and the only sounds heard are the occasional flicker of flames from the candles and the brushing of cloth from their garments.
(Ofelia): Good to see you again my friend!
(Angelique): Good to see you too!
(Ofelia): I see you survived the big battle foretold in the prophecy. One of many battles to come.
(Angelique): Yes we did. Barely! My healing abilities have helped alot but after each battle I am sooo drained! It is very difficult to keep this up. I even got both of my arms broken by a very powerful adversary and luckily one of the chosen helped me to heal myself if not there would have been more deaths.
(Ofelia): Yes well Gargdaemonus was trying to stop you from healing the others. He almost suceeded in bringing about the end of the world but you and the chosen stopped him.
(Angelique): Yes we did! But there are still questions? I have some psychic abilties and so do the twins. Their training is going well and so far Marisol has definately improved! Taina is moving along but her pregnancy is making it difficult to maintain her concentration.
(Ofelia): Yes well a pregnacy will do that. All the hormones and especially in her case with that special child.
(Angelique): Is there any info you can give me of the child?
(Ofelia): Let me peer into the looking pool and see.(Ofelia closes her eyes and concentrates and suddenly there is a slight wind and the candles flicker and she opens her eyes and looks into the bowl with water.)The future of the child at the moment is clouded. I have only seen short glimpses of possibilties but nothing concrete at the moment. I do sense a power in the child and Taina must be very careful and guard this child!
(Angelique): I agree, especially considering the parents of this child. A man with dark demonic power and the mother a psychic vampire/human hybrid. I don't think this child will be like any other child. On another subject... um...
(Ofelia): Yes?
(Angelique): What of our Vampire allies? You know..
(Ofelia): Oh you mean Heaven and the late Teresa. Yes I already know what your question is. You are wondering how they are very much like you even though they are different. Well most of the time vampires lose their souls when they are first transformed. After that the evil just takes over. In your case your mother did a spell and sacrificed the last of her life force to make sure that your soul was intact. The evil never got to take over you. Also your positive healing nature and your mystic bloodline transformed you into something else. You are a vampire but yet not, you are something different something unique. Your protege that died was similar but not quite. As For Teresa and Heaven? Somehow Teresa through her unique experience made her different and she had enough love and small piece of her soul to make her able to do good.

(Ofelia): That is a bit of a mystery? She is without a soul but yet she is capable of good. There is also some evil there though. Her goodness may in part be to the strong love she had for her lover and the love of her sister. Considering the power of her lover he could have made her that way. Unfortunately without a soul the dark will eventually take over. She needs her soul before the usually vampiric tendencies take over.
(Angelique): I have looked everywhere for the spell to restore her soul but found nothing so far. My mother knew but unfortunately died and I never learned the spell. Most of the books my mother and I had burned in that fire that the vampires caused that killed my clan. My poor gypsy family and friends!! I hope their souls are at peace!!!
Ofelia puts her hand on Angeliques shoulder to comfort her.
(Ofelia): Do not worry of them. They are watching over you and they are proud of you!! Even Teresa watches over her daughters.
As for the spell to restore Heavens soul..
(Angelique): Yes?
(Ofelia): It will present it's self when the time is right.
(Angelique): Really? When? I have meditated on this and...
(Ofelia): When the time is right and the fates decree.
There is also enemies on the horizon due to unfinished business. You must be careful and on your guard! You must seek out the vampires that escaped they are being lead by someone and that person seeks out a dark plan. There will be another being arriving soon as well and your chosen must be trained for them to survive this next ordeal.

Kinda like the way I made up "Maria" to get a hospital connection, and let "Alberto" be able to get blood from the hospital for "Javiar".
The character of "Alberto" is kinda like a player, but being stuck in "Carlos'" apartment traps him. By having "Alberto" get a job, he can move into his own place, and maybe put the moves onto "Dona Lengua Larga"???? 😉
No one really plays the parts of "Maria" or "Maria's brother" so if you want, give him a name and bring him into conversation. Or just work around him.
