(Carlos) "Actually, mi amor, yes there is. Go now to the big church I showed you that one night. Do you remember? Where the secret passage was in the basement?"

(Javiar) "Yes, I remember."

(Carlos) "Right now, you are our el agente secreto (secret agent). Antonio never met you, doesn't know you. Go to Our Lady of Suspicious Conception church and talk to the priest with the accent and red hair. His name is Fr. Jack Daniels. Tell him you're sent by me and we need as much as the consecrated host as possible. He'll be able to help you."

(Javiar) "I'll leave right now."

*As Javiar drives off, Carlos turns to Angelique*

(Carlos) "Angelique, I need you to research dark angels. What are their weaknesses. Also, while Antonio is powerful, he's not a full dark angel yet. From what I learned when I was a ghost, his last act to commit to become a permanent dark angel is to sacrifice the mother of his child. There may be a way to turn Antonio back."

(Teresa) "I just want him dead."

(Carlos) "If Antonio is killed in battle, the other dark angels will continue to fight, and we could be in a lot of trouble, and Taina will still be in danger. If we turn Antonio human again, the dark angles will depart, because they have no alligence with a human. It is the safest path to protect Taina, and her baby."

(Angelique) "I will go to the library upstairs and see what I can find."

*Javiar returns 20 minute later (in one piece this time) with a large bag of hosts, all blessed and consecrated by Fr. Jack Daniels. Carlos begins to think of ways to use them as weapons.*

Fransisco begins to leave out of the fast food joint furious on what X did to him. Jumps in his car and speeds off. Heading to the hospital to go see Rodolfo.........................

Fransisco takes his cell and calls Torres his voice mail comes on. Fransisco leaves a message saying " MARICON! Call me back with the quickness before times run out. You know who has got our backs so hurry aight. Call me back as soon as you here this message...........

Fransiscos drives away down the street and background music begins to play Nyasias "I'm The One"...............................
 
Daniella sits at home thinking how she can make this wrong, right. Her brother has always had her back w/ everything but she has to tell him the truth. what if Rodolfo found out what his boy did to her? If only she could explain the truth to him. She cared for him deeply but didn't want this to go on any longer. She calls her bro:

*Angelique, Javiar, and Carlos are in the living-room discussing what options they have, when Teresa comes up from the basement.*

(Teresa) "ohhh....it was hard to get up just now."

(Carlos) {sarcasticly} "Hmmm did someone put a boulder on your coffin again?"

(Teresa) "Now is not the time, nor will it EVER be the time. ¿Entiende usted eso? (Do you understand that?)"

(Carlos) "Yes Contess."

(Angelique) "Teresa, we've found something. There is a way for us to change Evil Antonio back to Good Antonio. I found this book upstaris that documents his family history. Apparently, his great great grandparents made a deal to give them wealth and health at the exchange of their family's first born male child's soul. That child was Antonio."

(Teresa) "What has to be done?"

(Carlos) "We ONLY have to have Evil Antonio willing swallow a consecrated host!" :rolleyes

(Teresa) "Oh is that all?" :rolleyes

(Javiar) "We were hoping that you had some ideas."

*Teresa sits quietly for a few minutes, deep in concentration. Finally, she questions Carlos.*

(Teresa) "Carlos, you said that when you fought Evil Antonio, that you could hear Good Antonio calling from within. Era eso verdadero (Was that true)?"

(Carlos) "Yes, that's true.

(Teresa) "Then we need to force Evil Antonio into battle soon. Maybe tonight. A very physical battle."

(Javiar) "I'm not sure I understand....."

(Angelique) "I do! By engaging Evil Antonio in battle, we can fight a long battle, and physically tire him out. When he's tired, it will allow the Good Antonio to take control and eat the consecrated host."

(Teresa) "I'm going to check and make sure that my daughters are ok. I suggest you get into battle clothes. Cuándo yo vuelvo, combatiremos! (When I return, we will battle!)"

*Teresa and Angelique leave the room, and Javiar and Carlos are alone.*

*Carlos walks over to Javiar and hugs him tightly. It is the first time that Carlos can say he loves someone. He enjoys this feeling, and prays that he'll be able to come back to Javiar, and make it permanent.*
 
She awaits Antonio...impatiently in the real world...will he make it there?

OMG!! I finally caught up on this excellent story!! Great work everyone!!!! I love all the action, drama, and humor!! It's like Buffy and X-Files mixed with a little spanish soap. Much better than the typical spanish soap opera by far!!! Good work guys keep it up!:yeey
 
when romero first left the white castles his first thought was to get in the car..but had a second thought as to how impractical it was given the traffic at this hour and how easy he would be caught he needed another..faster more agile way..and the unfortunate guy who was getting on his kawasaki ZRX was just the ticket..as he was seated on the curb getting his gloves on and about to put his helmet on..romero quickly ran up behind grabbed him by the collar of his leather bike jacket and flung the man onto the hood of the car parked behind him..jumped on the bike..made a wicked u turn and headed straight into oncoming traffic on the one way street..cars swerving left and right to avoid him as a truck came at him romero banked left..popped a wheely and climbed up a chevy cavalier that was parked when airborne and landed on the other side..while gawking pedestrians looked on......
 
Meanwhile as there are different battles taking place, there is a battle happening in Taina heart. Rico and Taina drive for awhile trying to find a safe haven amidst all the chaos that has become there lives. They stop in a wooded backroad that is free of traffic.
Taina is scared and shaking. Rico grabs her hand to calm her.

Taina: I'm a wreck Rico I don't know what to do? I'm afraid! I'm so confused about what my mother told me. I feel like I'm a freak!
it's so much to process and yet you are still here?

Rico: Taina you are not a freak! You are special! You are very special to me! (He holds her hand tightly and touches her head and gently caresses her hair. He gives her a kiss on her forehead. Tears fall from her eyes and he gently wipes them away.

Taina: Rico you are so good to me! Thank you!(she whispers with an appreciative smile)

Rico: Anything for you baby! I have to confess something to you.

Taina: What Rico?

Rico: From the moment I first saw you I felt a connection. I can't really explain it... it was a feeling I felt deep inside. I fel so close to you despite all the crazy stuff going on! Taina I.... I....

Taina: Yes? Yes Rico?

Rico: I ...think ... I think I love you! I think I'm in love with you!

Taina looks in his eyes and has a feeling of great warmth and peace within her. She feels happy, happier than she has ever been. She did love Antoino but she feels this may be true love. They both caress each others face and look in each others eyes and begin to kiss. Will their new love survive? Only the fates know for certain for it is they who are aware of our destiny.
