Ok lately a lot of cds have been copy protected. Now I do understand that yes a lot of people burn and return (when it was allowed) and pirate stuff and so on and so forth. Now I have a cd collection of well over 400 and i would say on about 20 of those cds are not originals. Most of the stuff I have is ordered from the states and europe so Ive spent some nice coinage on it. So yeah now Euromix 8 and Freestyle Heaven vol 4 are copy protected. I have all of the Euro mixes and all of the freestyle heavens including these 2. I just recently bought a burner because im basically working for cds and y order from around the world when i can burn. So yeah plus the cds that are copy protected cannot be played in older players, on ur comp on dvd players so wuts the point of the $20 ur gonna spend when u can listen to it on all ur players. This is just my opinion but it just so annoying cuz there must be away around it.

mario told me that there is a way of copying the copy protected cd's...u just need the right software (gotta ask him bout that)! Considering that there is a way, as soon as a cd is released, it WILL pop up on a peer sharing network over the net. So in my opinion, I JUST BURN! 😉
 
I've never tried it but the word out on the street is that the protected cd can be burned by MARKING THE EDGE OF THE CD VERY CAREFULLY WITH A BLACK MARKER,it should get bypassed the coded message or whatever it is. If you try it let me know if it really works.😉
 
Ya, that apparently works, from what I've been told, is if you look at the CD, there should be a ring near the end of it, and that's where the protection is, what you're supposed to do is do one small mark with a black marker from the point where the ring ends to the end of the CD. This should be like a couple of mm, depending if the CD is almost full that is...

i didn't know you could trick burners like that! but I don't care to try.
 
I found a way to rip the tracks (on some machines), if anyone wants to know, I guess I can email the instructions to everyone...
