I am wanting to get my own dj equipment- instead of using my friends- i was thinking of getting a cd mixing set - is this a good choice?- what are the features i should be looking for in a cd mixing system?
Well if u want a cd mixer, make sure u get one that has a jog wheel on it. It gives you precise cueing up to 1/100 of a second. If your planning on gettin single sets try the Pioneers, they work great and they also hold samples. I use a dual set myself. I own a Numark. I sumtimes use the new Pioneer single sets cause they are much better. Denon also makes good dual sets.
