I need your help! Today, NOT on Energy 92.7/101.1 The Beat Of Arizona ( www.energyarizonafm.com ), NOT on Power 92.3 # 1 for hi---- I meant WHERE HIP HOP LIVES, but on THE Gay 104.7 kiss f.m. here in Phoenix, I heard the BASS REMIX to "CATER 2 U" by Destiny's Child. I tried to call the station, but the on air person decided to LIE, and tell me he did the mix HIMSELF! it was obvious it was A FUNKYMIX OR ULTIMIX-LIKE C.D. - not him.


WHERE CAN I FIND THIS BASS REMIX?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Oh, I don't think you get it...... it's not a gay radio station, it's a radio station that's gay! I don't have time to get into the history of why I say it's gay, but just know that it is www.1047kissfm.com it ALL started when they decided to remove ALL the dance music from their playlist AND their mixshows, and ever since then I've been pissed off and as far as I am concerned the station has become gay. I used to call it the GAY 104.7 kiss f.m., capitalizing ALL letters in the word "gay", to describe to the FULLEST EXTENT how GAY the station is, but then they VERY SLIGHTLY improved, playing SOME good songs to the point I actually LISTENED TO IT sometimes and ENJOYED it. At this point it was no longer necessary for ME to capitalize ALL letters in the word "GAY" to EXPRESS FULLY how I felt about their station, because of the fact that they SLIGHTLY improved, but the station was still gay for ELIMINATING ALL dance music and artists (even if their next hit was not dance) from their station, and it was still gay enough to the point where I had to capitalize MORE THAN ONE letter in the word "gay", but it did not make sence to only capitalize TWO of the letters in the word "GAy", so I decided to capitalize all letters in the word "THE" and the first letter in the word "gay" (the 'g'), in THE Gay 104.7 Kiss f.m., which now PERFECTLY describes how GAY the station is. They almost improved so much over the past few weeks that I almost UPGRADED IT to removing all caps, but then they removed ALL their mixshows except for the 30 minute mix they do every weekday at 5:00p.m., which only dissappointed me AGAIN, so I decided that since they NEVER fail to LIVE UP TO THEIR NAME, I might as well just let it remain. So again, it's not a gay radio station, it's a radio station that's gay, because they DO NOT want to support or represent any dance music or artists at all. In addition, they LIE and MAKE ARGUEMENTS when you try to request dance songs or ask about it. Just TODAY, they ALMOST won my attention by playing the bass remix of "cater 2 u" AND being the FIRST to let me know it even existed, but they DESTROYED EVERYTHING when they tried to LIE and say that the d.j. put that mix together HIMSELF, when it was OBVIOUS that someone else did the remix and the promo showed up in their studio, which the program director LET him play in a mix. There is a difference in sound when a d.j. puts something HIMSELF and when the remix is ALREADY done in the recording studio with the PRODUCER who made it. In other words, they could have just played "my boo" by Ghosttown D.J.'s and tell everybody it was a mix they put together....... because for people who don't know, it would sound like a remixed song to them.
 
Try looking aroung Kazaa and Grokster. Type in funkymix and check out the results! 😉

A radio station that's gay? Is that SUPPOSED to be an insult? Hahaha. I think we all know what you're getting at but your choice of words isn't the coolest.

I have the import single to "Cater 2 U" and there's no bass mix on there. Radio DJs sometimes dabble in remixing also. Maybe he DID do it. Who knows? I haven't seen the mix on Ultimix or Funkymix. I'll keep my eyes out.

No....... he did not do the remix....... just figured it out TODAY, when I called and requested it and he had no idea who I was talking about...... I should make it clear that it was the prograjm director who was mixing at the time it was played, but it was the radio personality that airs from 2-7p.m. weekdays who said he (the program director, who was mixing), was the one that MADE THE REMIX HIMSELF! Today, this time the PROGRAM DIRECTOR answered the phone and HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT! as a matter of fact, he had NO IDEA what I was talking about when I requested it, then had the nerve to act like I must be calling the wrong station...... until I mentioned that it was played in the mix LAST WEEK. He knows that he is the ONLY ONE that mixes because ALL THE OTHER MIX SHOWS WERE REMOVED, for some unknown reason......

This is all too ironic, because JUST TODAY, I was going to make the big announcement this about THE Gay 104.7 Kiss f.m., I was FINALLY going to drop the "GAY" from THE Gay 104.7 Kiss F.M. because they are beginning to sound a little better, but, of course, all I did was call the station just to mention one thing and....... the program director started to get a little beside himself for NO REASON! I said nothing about dance music, I NEVER called EVER to complain - as a matter of fact, this was the FIRST time I spoke to him since two years ago when he got smart with me for asking why ALL dance music was taken out......
 
(O.K., I'm back, I had to quit and restart my library computer time)

I just called to ask an innocent question about "I knew you was a snake" because I was on the phone trying to solve computer problems while they did that ("I knew you was a snake" is a little show they do when someone wants to find out if their boy/girlfriend is cheating, so the on air guy calls, acts like he is a manager of an airline, restaurant, flower company.....etc. and as the caller is listening, calls the significant other and mentions that they won a free trip or gift certificate. Then he mentions that it's good for two people and asks for the name of the SECOND person they want to bring along or share the experience with. When the other name is mentioned, that's when the caller finds out their boy/girlfriend was cheating, and from there on.......I'll just say that the f.c.c. listens closely.......)

I called to ask a question about that, and the program director starts getting smart and talking as if I am retarted because I just wanted to know what happened. Even when I explained that I missed it, he still sighed and went on and on with his little temper tantrum as if I were asking him what is 1+3 and not getting it.

I did notice that ONCE AGAIN, 104.7 Kiss F.M. is going through a slight format change, they are leaning heavily towards rhythmic, and..... I don't know what it is, but I am diggin' what they are doing and playing, EVEN WITHOUT THE MIX SHOWS! I even listened on SATURDAY NIGHT, WHILE OTHER STATIONS WERE MIXING!

Now, despite the crap from the program director, I want to make this big announcement:




AS OF TODAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2005, THE Gay 104.7 name HAS BEEN DROPPED!

I will NO LONGER be including the word "GAY" with Kiss f.m. Everyone else there is cool, but the program director...... that's another issue and I wont attack everyone for his actions...........

Also, I must add one more thing:

I also want to make my semi-public apology for using the word "Gay", and say that this was NOT an attack against gay people. Actually, this was supposed to be more of an insult towards the STATION, not people that are gay, and it is possible that I have offended a few people by using the word "gay" for a radio station that sucked. I had NO INTENTION of offending anyone - other than 104.7 Kiss F.M.

The name has been dropped, the station is cool, but it's the program director that needs to get his act together WITH HIS "CUSTOMERS" (or shall I say listeners?)

But I still don't think it would hurt if they at least played ONE dance hit at least ONCE an hour....... But they can't help that the music is slowly getting faster.......once again, and they MUST play the hit music!

dance music is coming back..............could it be?!
