I wanted to get a VW golf tdi too!!! How is it for repairs and such? EVeryone keeps telling me VW keeps breaking down but the tdi engine is supposed to be amazinnng

EESH: i absolutely recommend the VW TDI, Jetta or Golf.... fuel economy is amazing, i drive a lot and only fill up every 700-900km !! that for me is about every 3 weeks!! as for the breaking down part, don't believe them, this is my second VW and so far i have had no problems what so ever... they are great cars but remember one thing, whne something breaks down, it will cost you a bit more than a Hyundai or honda or something, you pay for quality... i recommend it all the way man!

and that's cool.. glad ur not behind 😛... i absolutely love golfs/jettas with the exhaust.. the sound is awesome... nothing like my farting can on Honda 😛 (hey i love my honda.. don't get me wrong tehehe)

EESH next car i'll get will probably be a Jetta unless i get a great deal on BMW
 
Thanks portugino. I knew the fuel economy was good, but damn... I'm sold. Hopefully I'll be getting it around my bday, *hopefully*. I still have some convincing to do. I already have a couple mods in mind, like aluminum accents on the dashboard, probably some new rims, a couple engine tweeks, %$#@# i can't wait lol And we can't forget the sound system!

EESH... lol.. i'm not getting it soon honey... just or IF i get around to it... I'm going slow with my CRX for now anyway... u know I can't afford to have a beemer when still at school

EESH: yeah man go for it, they are really good cars... u throw an exhaust, change the chip and you will be beating the 1.8T models.. that is amazing, for a diesel engine they are really good!
