Kenny sweetie, It isn't 1989, you're right. Freestyle music isn't on the charts, you're right again. However, I disagree with you about an old rap song from the 1980's that no longer survives today. One rap song that holds its own and never was modernized is "Rappers Delight" by Sugarhill Gang! Still gets played on MTV, VH-1, BET, etc. It very much is a classic and stands alone! So I don't think that taking whatever Freestyle can get is correct just because it isn't the 1980's. The same way VH-1 created "A Night With" they can create another show that will introduce Freestyle in a positive way and they will get cooperation from alot of people (Freestyle Artists, spouse, Promoters, Managers, etc.) to interview. I know you mean well in perhaps getting Freestyle Music and Artists something but I just think that our artists deserve a little more respect after all they've been through in the 80's and 90's. It wasn't all pretty or Peaches N Cream!

I mean i remember liking the real world when it first came out. I hope that this kind of tv burns out like the backstreet boys did LOL Freestyle is a special art form, i dont want to know what people have done with our heroes of freestyle. Sometimes mystery is good.

I understand, Betty. I'm always trying to get another way for freestyle to get up and show its stuff to the world again. This was something I thought people would have loved to of done. Who knows? Maybe someone will do it!! Im going to call some of my contacts to see if they want to go public (and everyone knows I have a very, big black book!!)
 
Kenny by all means go for it. 🙂 Maybe there will be someone or several who don't care and just want a little taste of the limelight that artists have. I'm sure there are a lot of Monica Lewinsky's out there! :mad
 
not all the stories have to be dirty!! they just want to send a film crew to the persons home and let them explain how the date/relationship was. I dont think theyre trying to portray it in a distasteful manner.

I hope you're right! :rolleyes I hope they won't portray anyone in a distasteful manner. 😉 Wouldn't be too cool since Freestyle in the "Eyes of the World" aren't anybody of importance. No one wants to give them a chance out there with something MAJOR & POSITIVE. 🙂

VH-1 has become mean. They are worst than E! now with all these Celeb sleaz shows!! Why don't videos just become extint period!! Seems like nobody seems to care about them now.
