Good Luck and have your money ready! my advice to you after he gives you the DVD ask him if you could test it on his laptop becasue he was playing one of them on his laptop when I was there...I should've done that!
 
I will pass on the info to him when i see him on Friday. I will find out what his faNS should do (refund wise).

It could be your dvd player, also. not all dvds are compatible to all areas. that may be the problem also. afterall, he is in Brazil so the Brazilian burners/players may be quite different than the US/CANADA's players.
 
Naaaa...it's not the DVD player..I tried it on my PS2 then on my DVD player then I took it to my mom's house to see if it would work there and NOTHING 🙁 it comes up as " No Data" or " No Disc" , my girl bought one and hers works fine..but not mine 🙁

I think the problem may lie within your player & not the burnt disc itself. I have several burnt dvd's of movies that will not play on my PS2 or dvd player. It will however play on my friends dvd player. The reason being is more than likely that dvd player doesn't correctly read the program the dvd was burnt with. The player needs to read VCD or SVCD formats then it should play without a problem.

as for the DVD, DJ RENE G does have many valid reasons. Its got to be a regional thing. I received a dvd from england and it cannot be played on my dvd player unless you change its region code. like i said, he lives in Brazil so i bet it has something to do with it.

I'm not into the dvd thing (yet) but there is a few webisites where you can go to and amend your settings according to the region you want to adapt your dvd player to. Im taking a guess that he did these in Brazil (unless he had these done by someone else in another country!) I will ask him though on Friday to make certain where they were done so we can pinpoint it. I will try and have a website for you later so you can try the conversion.
