I have optimum voice phone service through my cable hookup. well yesterday for some odd reason my phone stopped working. cablevision has no idea y. everyone there had a theory. they had to send the repair man out 2 xx today. finally i have phone service again.

i also had no internet service today since my phone works with my cable internet modem.
i was going mad. glad to be back.:meinlove
 
I was gonna get it but my friend who works for cablevision told me not to get it yet because all the bugs arent out of it.

am I glad I waited!!!!
 
wish i would have known that kenny. latino the funny thing is my cable worked and my internet worked til the 1st time the service tech came over.
 
yep thats what the repairman said. he thought it was a billing issue but it wasnt. its one of those things where you go hmmmm.
 
i used to have Cablevision when i was like 5. i got sattelite now, i love it
 
i dont want to cancel it. usually it works great. i get free long distance. i can call anywhere in the USA, i get call waiting, call id, call forward, *69 & 3 way calling all for 34.95 a mnth. its no more or less every mnth. you cant beat that, so for a little inconvenience now and then its worth it.
 
well I dunno about the phone thing but a co worker is on strike w/ cablevision cuz they were supposed to disconnect ther person above her and they disconnected her instead and do not want to connect her- and she knows she doesn't need a box cuz her tv is cable ready
I think they were tacking who's got illegal cable. but cable is a pain in tha ass anyway- glad u got back online Amy
 
liz i had that happen once b4 . a yr or so ago, they didnt want to admit they disconnected my cable by accident. they also wanted access into my appartment. i pretended to be a neighbor and said i was there to make sure they put the cable back on. i made a complaint with the board of utilities. cablevision put the cable on real quick AND ADMITTED THE BOO BOO.
 
AIm I have the Opt Voice...Sometimes I have problems LIke yesterday when I tried to make a call I got a message saying all circuts were busy. It can get annoying but that is why I kept my anolog Line just in case. My Optonline always works fine and so does the Digital Cable.
 
today i had to call several times and when i said i will call the board of utilities and gave my contacts name, they got me help real fast. thats y they had the tech do a call back today. he came in the morning blamed it on a billing problem and left.

comcast is higher priced i heard and the service doesnt offer as much for the price.
