First of all...
Britney Spears singing freestyle? That's like DMX breaking out with a new country album...sorry...
...Britney may be singing a song with freestyle beats in it but freestyle beats dont = a freestyle song.
If more artists, however start using freestlye beats though, don't you think that it will spark the interest of so many people as to what that sound is...many people may discover freestyle...
...that song...Wyclef Jean's "Perfect Gentleman". It has a great beat that is definately freestyle, but his lyrics are completely not freestye. I think it's good though, to experiment with all music styles.
...I am just afraid that artists like Britney Spears may use freestyle beats without giving it justice...i mean...you can't hack up freestyle like that by taking the beat, and forgetting about the lyrics. That would make the freestyle beat so mainstream...it would lose it's uniqueness which would totally suck.
