Brenda K Starr will come out tonight (3/20/04 Saturday) on the Telemundo network. They will be broadcasting the Calle 8 at 7pm/6pm central time. Brenda, will be one of the preformers.

Calle 8. Damn. I remember when my parents got together with their friends and would drive to Miami to check out Frankie Ruiz, Celia Cruz, Eddie Santiago and other Salsa greats! Miami is where it's at, baby.

Hey Tank & CaRLiTo,

Naw, I diddnt see the performance on TV, but they told me about it.
& No, I diddnt go to Calle 8 either, I WAS in Miami during the Calle ocho with friends who visited from out of town, but we diddnt wanna go.

& Plus I HATE exaggerated stuffed crowds of people! Im not claustraphobic, but I get all frustrated & pissy & then wanna fight - lol- (yea, im one of those). 🙂
So we just avoided it & partied elsewhere & still had a blast.
Went to Calle 8 once a few years ago, & hated every minute of it, almost got into like 3 fights, & diddnt get to enjoy anything (but the food).

CarLiTo, were u, or are u in FL?
