Brock Lesner Quit the WWE and his last appearance will be at wrestlemania

Thanks To PWI for the following:

There is more news coming out of the WWE concerning Brock Lesnar & his departure from WWE. There have been several people who believe this could all be a work on the part of Vince McMahon & Lesnar, but apparently that is not true and Brock is generally miserable with the industry right now. There are also several people backstage who are shocked that Brock Lesnar believes he could play for any NFL team.

Added to that is talk of what will happen to Sable now, since she is Brock's significant other and a lot of what has been given to her has been due to Brock's status with the WWE.

There is a meeting today to decide what they will do with the match at WMXX between Lesnar and Goldberg. It will be both men's last match, which will make it very tricky to book. It was previously thought that Lesnar would go over Goldberg, but with both men now leaving, the WWE may change their plans for the match.

It seems that Brock Lesnar's bombshell wasn't the only action at Tuesday's Smackdown tapings. First, Big Show squared off with Ron Simmons. Big Show has taken it upon himself to act like the locker room leader for the past few weeks, with his stand against Johnny Ace being the culmination of that. Show was said to be making a point about something, when Ron Simmons interrupted and told him to sit down and shut up. Show and Simmons got in each other's faces and had to be separated.

Later on, Torrie Wilson and Sable got involved in a screaming match that lasted for some 30 minutes. The two were apparantly arguing over something that started at the Playboy party the two attended last weekend, and the issue was only settled when Jim Ross and a production crew member split the pair up. Sable may be upset at Brock Lesnar's decision to leave the WWE, as she is reportedly an item with the former WWE Champion at the moment.

Vince McMahon has yet again been toying with the idea of resurrecting the WCW brand name.

WCW fans need not get their hopes up just yet though - every time possible storylines and angles are thought about for a return, the idea is usually put on the back burner as Vince feels there's no need to bring back a "failed brand name".

Serious considerartion is being put into an ECW relaunch, however.

wow drama!!!!!! we'll see.... I just shelled out $49.95 for Wrestlemania.... gonna have a little WWE party!!!!!! :cheers

Goldberg may stay!!!!

Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald reported the following today in an article about Lesnar leaving the WWE this Sunday.

"Ironically, speculation was Goldberg would wrestle his final WWE match at WrestleMania, but since becoming friends with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the apparent departure of Lesnar, look for Goldberg to remain with the company -- possibly joining the SmackDown roster."

I have not heard this anywhere else, but it would make sense for the WWE to possibly coax Goldberg back to the company with one of their major superstars leaving.

I hope he stays now!!!!

oh and I another side note I read was that Lesner originally had offers in 2000 from the Redskins and the Bucs.... So I am assuming he must have been in contact with them again to make this move now

Brock hasnt been happy for awhile and now that Taker's back as the Dead man word is that he will be mowing everyone down cause he is an invinceble dead man and Brock may have taken that as a final straw having to job and put over Taker.

well I was just fishin around on Ticketmaster last nite for other stuff so I figured I'd try.... surprised it wasn't "souled" out!!!! 🙂
Really I thought they "Seitz" it was LOL

Well I read some more that Goldberg still hasnt renewed but is open to work with Mcmahon about other dates ... The man is about business hes looking for the money and hes in a good Position to gain now. McMahon Needs a monster to fill the smackdown roster now. Edge is a face he'll remain on smackdown. Angle will retire within the year this may be his last mania too and Big Show needs some serious rehab time which he was supposed to take but after mania but now Brock messed that up. So Vinniemac needs to get goldberg some cash.... I know the hitman has been talking with vinnimac but I dont think he'll show at mania but at thenext PPV in Canada when Benoit is supposed to win the belt I think the angle will be Brett screws back
