Former Yankees Starter Pitcher; Andy Pettiete was not picked up by The Yankees. Today, he signned with The Houston Astros today.

Is this the begining of The end of The Yankees Dyansty.

Thats tight hes with the astros, hes gonna be a big help for them, its not the end for the yankees.

Stienbrenner is off his rocker.

How can he let go the best Lefty in the league, better yet, the best Lefty since Whitey Ford. You just can't let a guy like Andy go. Up in Boston, they have the best pitching so far with Curt Schilling on the roster now.

Thanks for the late news Mike. Now the Yanks will go after Kevin Brown. The Yanks already resigned some pitchers. They recently aquired Javier Vazquez from the Expos. I have yet to see the dynasty over.

:yoomg omg i just saw the news right now i cant believe it, is this nikka makin the biggest mistake of his life or what??? or just plain stupid...instead of goin forward andy is goin back the yanks was payin his ass 39 million for 3 yrs now movin ova to houston hes gonna get now 31.5 million for 3 yrs now why would anyone wanna do that? geez

well now that andy is gone the yanks took kevin brown who use to play for the dodgers to be in his place but i dont think no one could ever replace him i say andy was one of the best the yanks had too bad hes gone now :crap

It is a sad day for us Yankee fans. Andy will be surely missed. But he proved that he is a class act when he signed with Houston, as devastating as it is to NY, because he went with where his heart is...Texas to be closer to his family. He wasnt blinded by the Yankee "bling-bling". For that I respect him, though I will miss him.

At least he isnt being greedy like Gary Shefield.
