I'm sticking to my opinion, you all can disagree if you want. Its wanna-be pop music and when you try to be something your not it comes through. Johnny O doesn't have the voice for pop-it's obviously not where his heart is and that comes through-when you listen to his old stuff his heart and soul is in it. His new songs are just weak and emotion-less.

Johnny O has one of the best freestyle voices ever and that's because he was singing with his soul. Its just disapointing when his new material is so hyped up as a comeback when in fact he sold-out--to pop.

FreestyleMasters was unfortunatly banned for this reason:

First he posted:

"You don't even know what real freestyle is. You're from Miami and all Miami freestyle is wack--you overtanned prune. Don't forget freestyle started in New York--Bronx, New York! So kiss my yellow New York ass."

Then I remove that section of the post
because I felt he could have worded it in a more
respectful manner.

I sent him this notice:

"Please do not post on ClubFreestyle in that manner."

He replied with this:

"That's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ed up
You know it's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ed up you kicked me off when I was DjBriski for dissing willie and kenny guido like a year ago.

And now your cutting up my posts? Let me tell you this, I don't give a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who you are and who you know. Stop cutting up my !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!in posts. I was just responding to her comments about my being a "zero" and a "yellow new yorker". It was all in my defense and all New Yorkers. Restore my post to its original state its only fair. Or I won't be as nice next time."

when I read the begining of your post jack when you said he was banned I wasn't too suprised but I thought atleast should get a warning but when I read his response...damm. lack of respect period!! Deserves what he got. but I feel "Freestylevet" did not show respect either(offcourse not as bad as his) but I would kinda get mad too if I got that kind of response. but he sure could of worded it better and show some respect. so it's not that I am defending his actions! but I feel Freestylevet language was not that good towards their opinions. but I am totaly shocked from his response to you!!!

Freestylevet. I let her know in a earlier post
in this thread that everyone has their right.

This happens allot online. I have been consistant
in removing badly worded posts throughout the years.
It helps this site to stay strong and build long lasting
friendships.

It's obvious when a person registers and begins to make negative waves, there's always others who follow. Like JackG said, we are here to make comments, but there is no need to offend anyone. I feel, if you attack, be prepared to receive the same treatment. However, I've come to realize that people like "That" should just be ignored. Because they have no clue of what's going on.

Johhny O rules

I had the honor meeting and attending Johhny O's concert last week in Miami. He is a true class act who cares about his fans. His voice is as great as ever--he did a vocal short (no music) from his freestyle hit "Runaway"-- and it sounded amazing. His heart AND soul is definately in his new music also. He performed "Call Me On The Phone", aside from the song being good, you could see it in his body language that he was putting his all into his new song. Johhny O has the foundation, desire, and talent to take this album to new hights and I wish this legend all the best.

Go Johhny Go!!

DAYUM...this thread was started, like, two days ago, and it's blown the %^&$ up!!! Johnny, I can't wait for the album to drop(August, is it)so I can start blasting it on my stereo. My sound card is #$%@ed up as well, but I got to hear two songs off the album when he performed at DNA a few weeks back, and they were off the mutha#$%@!& hook, 4 shizzy!!! I really can't wait, and for those who feel that Johnny has "sold out" to pop, I respect that you feel that way, but if he indeed "sold out" in order to bring the masses back to freestyle, then more @#$!%&? power to him!!!
