Ok I agree with the police in this one...this kid is 13 he should know better...my biggest pet peeves are all to do with driving...and pedestrians popping out in front of moving vehicles is one of them :mad

i agree with the police also, some people really think they are invincible and not get hit.

My brother (the police officer) told me once that the rule, the pedestrian has the right of way, applies to crosswalks. If any runs into a street where there is no set crosswalk, and they are hit, they did not have the right of way.
Here in Toronto we have a huge problem with "j-walking" (when pedestrians cross when they do not have the right of way, or when the light is red for them)...it's so annoying people just darting out in front of your car.... :mad
